Your comment regarding that young mans poem about maraijuana was a breath of fresh air to me, I agree, and appreciate this view point more than ever due to it's grace and poignancy.

I thought of you today and decided to drop by and leave a note saying; HI! I hope all is going well with you and yours. Stay careful and be blessed.

Diane,
Hey you!!! Sure has been a very long time since we have been in contact. I do hope all is well. I think of you often. We can change the world one step at a time... first starting with our voices. I bet yours is shining brightly!!
All is well with me, just working at a new job, with shift work -12 hours. Yikes! I've worked days and nights. They seem very long. In the Fall I'll be heading back to school, taking Human Services. It is a year long program. I was hoping to take Early Childhood Education but at the College I applied too, I'm on the waiting list -next year though! Human Services helps too though which will be good. I'm looking forward to it again. Love you lots and take good care of yourself.

Hi there I wish there were applauses for author's page I would surely applaud yours. What a lovely and apt collection of quotes. Well I am glad you are where you are and not where I am because this has to be a terrible city, yet with many oasis of peace around, ttoday I took my kids to explore a few of these we visited the house Rudyard Kipling was born in, unfortunately it was in a sad state of disrepair but there was a garden where time seems to have stood still and this on the campus of a bombay college right in the middle of the bustling city. Visited some mopre places like that and took in a few art exhibitions. Hope all is well with you.
-
p.s ~~~I love your page!!

I'm thinking of you and wishing you well.
The baby seals are so beautiful, why would anyone want to harm them? If they see what we see then there wouldn't be any bloodshed. I love you Diane. Take care of yourself.

Have been going through some old poems and came across your name. So, curious as to not having seen you of late I am stopping in to see what you are up to. How easily folks slide into the masses of AP without us even realizing it.

Diane,
Haven't chatted in awhile. Let me know how you are doing. Hope you are enjoying yourself. Love you lots.

I have'nt got around to read all your poems ..but as I Summer Day.....It is poetry.... powerful, and original, with an infectious feel to it...kinda lets read and read,,,,,
-
awww what a precious author page.. and i love the quirky bits that make you = you.. it shows...
I think there's a bit of you in me as well. Although I've had my regretful litterbug, pollution moments *sigh* for the most part i'm a big believer in the way the earth should be and was... it's ashame where we're headed (we as the earth).. And it's nice to see a caring person in this world. love your motto and the statement 'when i'm not writing i'm a simple life in progress' (i think i quoted that properly) i love that line, my motto is close and i agree (but only for me) happy trails!
-
oh my, i see you have many of the same fav. quotes as myself!!
-
i see you have a love and appreciation for nature and the environment. i feel very much the same. i am vegetarian and love animals very much. i am off now to read your works. thank you for you comment on my poem. it was my first in that particular form and you were very kind.

Thank you ~Scarlet That pretty harbor scene is in Bar Harbor ME, you must see it for real some time for the picture is just a small % of the beauty here, we have a national park on the same island, (Arcadia Nat. Park) After, I changed the picture I could'nt get it back ??? So I try again to wrestle with it again soon. Keep in touch Diane Edited on Jul 28, 11:21 p.m. because ''.

thanks for your comment on 'smoking the pot'........and i can definitely see where you're coming from....i'm hoping that there's a time in my life that i won't feel that i need anything else just to get on.......if that makes sense....i'm hoping that at the right time the cloud will lift......and what's worse is that i think i wrote that piece over a year ago...
thanks for reading

D, Like the new background - it would go well with one of my poems...Preying....has Spring arrived up there yet? We are having wonderfully warm days already...

I thought I'd visit your site, since I decided to add you to my favorites! I see you like Edna St. Vincent Millay too - her poem called "the Ballad of the Harp Weaver" is one of my all time favorites. I'll be by later to check out your poetry.
Best wishes,

Thanks for commenting on 'Storm in a 'G'Cup'. My daughter adores the background by the way. I'll be back to check out your work.
