  • Kathryn Bowden on May 19, 2008
    Hi. I wanted to drop by and say hello and to let you know how much your entry into my contest touched my heart. I know I'm not supposed to know who you are, but I cheated and asked a friend to look for me and pm me your user name. You words are full of truth and they touched a point in me very deep in my heart. You are a gifted writer, but more than that you have an empathatic heart. That's not something found every day. Thank you for blessing me with your words. May you always be soaked in His blessings....

    Thank you for visiting my page. I am not surprised with your response. I respect what you might be feeling. It takes me to one of my favorite quotes;

    Hey Benjamin,

    Thanks very much for visiting my page today and letting me know that you read one of my poems. I'm honored that you read it and happy that it went over well. Please accept my condolences. As I wrote in that poem, "life is a fragile affair", but it's a lot harder to lose someone at Christmas. I'm very sorry.

    I hope you have a happy Christmas and a healthy, prosperous 2006. Thanks for your friendship. I appreciate it very much.

    All the best,

    Mark

    Wanted to say that your reply to timecube poet was so kind and wise. And very well punctuated! Nevertheless, I understand his point of view, having three teenagers my self and a long memory... You rock, as they say. x Debs

    Wow. I'm sorry, I can't keep up. It's called punctuation, Capitals, etc. I think I get the gist of what you are saying, interesting. Please continue. But first, go back and read my post. Carefully. I said nothing against you or your relationship. I am for you. I was trying to give you the benefit of my years... Don't throw away things of value, like your parents. Since you brought up the subject of God, I would encourage you to also be vigilent not to just recognize the problems with the people who ran the church (abuse of power, hypocricy, logical inconsistencies, etc) but be a bit skeptical of who you read now. God made you smart, creative, so a relationship with you will have meaning. He gave you the choice to reject him so the choice to seek him will have meaning. Seek the truth. God is not afraid of the truth. Best wishes, Ben

    why are you aginst me ide rather have my girl than my parents most the time they want to take my youth and try to make me believe in a adult cloned god which i refuse and the bible dosent even strike fear into me either jesus and god are excuses of manipulating childrens minds with lies all philosophies and religions (except music) is wrong therfor so is god and if does seem to exist then why am i not effected by his evil life satan has a better chance of prooving his existence but im not effected by his good life either,a single human mind spreads a word virus or scriputures just to manifest others beliefs and dreams you cannot simply choose what is really good or evil but you can cancel them both out of your existence along with your memory turning our future not backwards into cannabalism because of false-education but forward by self sacrifices to rid the earth of prayers and reading believing and then death i am going to stand upon a crowd and tell them all there path is wrong to follow a false-god adult cloned entity only man and woman exist and are able to use eachother ending their world even if it takes yet another 1000 years thats all humans are useful for using eachother as dolls with open minds to adults with a bowl of pain and a spoon of belief trying to sip all that pain away but it grows because humanity cannot escape itself.
