I noticed all these comments about age...way I see it is, you're just wiser and have a lot to offer us youngens! I think age is just a number, you're only as old as you feel. I just had to put in my two cents! I have four young children running around and am a stay at home mommy, so I get on here just whenever I get things done around the house. My youngest is 16.5 months, he keeps me pretty busy, since Anabel started school he follows me EVERYwhere, but it's fun! Ok, I'm off to read some of your stuff. Nice to meet you! Blesings

BonnieQ on August 3, 2006Well, Bonnie, not only are we close in age almost to the day (I turned 62 on June 4th) but, also since birth, my nickname always has been Bonnie. And, as far as computers; well, my lengthy careers had me on computers before they became popular in the home; albeit, I am strictly a user, not a geek!
Just show me where to point and click, then assure me it will do what I want it to do. As a publisher's editor and a published Author, computers are such an incredible timesaver!

Just precious. I am 61 years-old and I know people don't think we can do anything. I say, keep that mind active and it never matters what age you are.

childlike faith on June 29, 2006Hi amo uno, thanks for your comment. No offence taken. Actually I'm very proud to have lived to be a senior citizen as we are all called. And I am now, as of June 8, 65 and still going strong. At least that's what I keep telling myself. As for using the computer, I'm not very good at it but I keep trying to learn new things that can be done with it. And I really enjoy corresponding with all of you at this site. Thanks again and I'll check out some of your work. childlike faith

Oh dear, no offence to you at all. I admire the fact that you can use a computer... a lot of people can't. My parents can't even... and they're under 50....
