One of them, A Day At The Beach, was based on my memories of being taking to the beach by my father, and also, of taking my own kids to the beach. I am not oooop north, I live in the south east, in Kent. I was thinking of Whitstable, which is a lovely old town with a shingle beach, but there is also a goodly helping of tar from the oil tankers coming out of the Thames estuary, too!! New born was about my newly born grandaughter, now 7 weeks; and room full of chairs, about my 83 year old mum, with dementia, just gone into a home. Thanks for your comments!! mackereth on July 7I removed it from my contest after multiple warnings over a 2 week time period. The fact that you did not follow my rule waas made clear when all entries that did were moved to the finalist list. So when you entry was not it should have made you realize your mistake. That is when you should have asked me what you were missing.I'm sorry you feel disrespected but you have no one to blame but yourself.
