MxOrpheus on November 15, 2004I had to read "Daffodils" for my English class. Not a lot of people appreciated it. Sad, I know. I like how the poet describes the mind as the "inward eye", making more meaningful and original than just "i think about it". I think it's completely awesome that you're inspired by the classics, too.

DistantWorld on February 24, 2004Hello Even though I hate to admit it I am totally a romance freak. Some of my earlier poems are all romance filled. And I am going to look at some of your poems. Cool

brad-the-bard on December 18, 2003Ah, well I have a great weakness for nineteenth century novelists. At the moment I'm reading Dickens' Oliver Twist. I love Miss Austen's turn for the satirical. Sense and Sensibility is a great read, though it lacks a strong male figure. My favourites are (from most favourite to the least) Persuasion, Emma, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility (these are of course her major works). Anyway, thanks for your comment on my poem "A lily rare". Few people would really appreciate that style of poetry.

K.E. Morris on December 16, 2003i love jane austen too i haven't read persuasion as of yet, but i intend on reading it eventually. i have to say that the best novel i've read by her so far has been sense and sensibility, probably because it was the most wistful and that's always a plus in my book. thanks for stopping by my author page- it's cool to see that a guy can appreciate something that's considered strictly a chick thing.
