I am also a Vietnam vet. I came in at the end of the war and joined the Coast Guard. Our cutter was scheduled to go, but the war ended. So, I didn't have to serve there.

I have to envy anyone that is a artist.. I was just checking names on the side, and saw yours.. I adore James Taylor.. Sweet Baby James.. That man has brought me many hours of comfort and yet allowed me to cry during a much needed time as well. As for the above poem? It eases my heart thinking of the times I have crawled into bed, just like that.. Tired.. only to be held by very welcome arms..

Sorry to drop a load here lol.. Bravo to you for your uplifting spirit (such as I can see) ..
