A lucky break you got there
I missed some shots 'cos of hair
    in my eyes, distracting me,
but I will win, you will see.
    When you are not looking
I will alter your favourite cue,
then I will be the queen er king,
    not you, dear blondeoverblue.

Kat, my little English stand up comic, how are you. Yes yes yesssss I will enter, but it ends 4 days from now, can you extend it until sunday night, so I have the weekend to enter something. I have stacks of work to do, and am a little unhealthy at the moment aswell. please please please!!! pretty please with poets on top? Did I ever mention you're one of the better looking poets on this site, and most intelligent, and very very humourous. I have even heard your name mentioned around the Oscars when I was there, people wondering if you were the script writer for the best comedy movie! I had to tell them, look, I know blondeoverblue, but it's a secret, she's a very modest person, and it's not for me to say... sunday night???? ta maaaate, ol' cobbar, me little beauty,

    Pool

I have now won a fair few games
And I am feeling cocky as heck,
Yes, you know I would thrash you,
But I have a sore back and neck.

Just know that I am the greatest
Whenever I pick up the virtual cue,
You may think that you are good,
But you know that you are poo.

Hello South East England girl! Well it certainly bespeaks loudly of your graciousness to give me a kind comment on my poem about Gandhi, especially since his actions led to a big loss for England. I just watched "The Lion in Winter", from the library. What a great movie! Cheerio!

  • blondeoverblue on April 14, 2004
You've very welcome, yours had the same effect on me, I just sat reading it with the stupidest grin on my face

You might like to read 'Where have you bean all my life' if you are feeling brave

First of all, I'm probably late in replying because I haven't been able to get on in a while. TYSM! You've made me very happy. I'm glad you enjoyed my parody~ Lord of the Strings.

::hands them a cookie for being willing to read the long story::

I know it was so very long and was worried people wouldn't want to read through it because of that fact. I might have split it into parts but I was also afraid that would put people off as well.

p.s. I would also like to say that Penguin New World Order is absolutely brilliant! I'm adding it to my favorites. I couldn't stop laughing!!!

LOL @ Busting Beauty. As I go through every one of Blonde's poems, I become more and more her dominated love slave! LOL. I believe I have just read half a dozen of the best poems I have read in a long time.

Thank you for existing Blonde, and sharing your thoughts with the rest of us.......

Hi Kat, just getting reveng...oops, returning the favour. likee the picture! lol. Was it painted/composed by a man? One who was too busy worrying about 'assets' to paint the face? And OI! stopp de-stressing at my table! .Git your own Rondeau, mine WAS vintage until a certain madam gracelessly slurped it all and left me with the bill! (sigh)
Ah An optimistic pessimist huh? Are we related. That would be just my luck! (and illegal too nudge , nudge, wink ,wink). Have a good one, ya mare! wahahahahahahah

    Hi!

    It's nice to meet you.
    Thanx for your comments.

And I love your poem on your author page about being blond. I totally agree with you. It's so wrong to generalise about people because of their hair colour. What, do people think that all people with non-blond hair are perfect and smart? I think colour of hair has nothing to do with person's IQ and 'dumb blond' is a sexist stereotype, which started because Marylin Monroe dyed her hair blond and played a dumb person, but she was not even blond herself, and just because she played someone dumb does not mean she really was dumb, and I think stereotypes are bad, because they affect people and their view of themselves, subconscious and conscious. Sorry for rambling but I feel strong about the issue of stereotypes in general. My own hair is brown, but I love blond hair and some people in my family were blond and very wise and educated people!

    Best Wishes

    Di
