Amazing you know Flight of the Conchords - they rock!
  • lunarlunacy on April 28
Not sure how I blindly stumbled across your page here, or how it has taken me this long to find the reading pleasure of your wit and discipline. I wish I had a fraction of your discipline. Groovy page, look forward to reading more by ya.

http://allpoetry.com/contest/2433819 I was scrolling through contests and I came across this one with a link to a similar one. I automatically thought about you and your nursery collection and thought this would be an awsome contest for you to enter one of them in. I hope you take the oppourtinity cuz you write them well. Hugs
  • shadowfax22 on August 31, 2006
Thanks so much for the honorable mention. It was very nice and very unexpected!! Thanks a milion!!!
  • soulfultia on August 27, 2006
I took my poem out of the contest as I felt a smidgen intimidated by the other work posted. I featured my poem to get some feedback and it seemed I was the only one who got it...Ha! I am truly not contest material yet but love a challenge, so your contest did inspire me to pull some feelings from being onboard a ship in the navy out and I thank you for that. Good luck with your contest however I believe it may be some time before I actually enter one again. I just play with words... there is some real phenominal talent on this site and I do enjoy reading others work including yours. Thank you for sharing and again good luck. Terissa

Well, not just "flirtatious carp," but "flirtatiously modest and shy carp."

I get more comments on this username than any I've had before.

  • WindUpEnigma on August 19, 2006
Coy koi...as in, "flirtatious fish?" lmao...sorry, I'm sleep deprived, and found that hilarious.
I was suitably impressed by "Knothole Perspective," so I had to come look at some more of your work...and here I am...
    and off I go...

Did you reply to my comment and then delete it? I was referred to as a sweet asskisser. Never been called sweet before, thank you. Any rate I couldn't find the comment later when looked for. Hmmmm, why? I search my DSM IV booklet to find out. Dave

OMG, is it really you? I thought you'd maybe been Cap'n-napped or something. Maybe swallowed by a big whale. Thank goodness you're okay. Email me @ renee.grotewiel@gmail.com . Okay? Good.

hey georgeous. What's your e-mail adress, so I can like, e-mail you and what not. I miss you like all craziness.
  • hole on November 8, 2005
    yay I like your picture

    Oh
I feel bad because I keep saying I'll catch up on your work and I haven't been...
and I miss reading your stuff and talking to you
I just always seem to be doing other things nowadays. I'm at college at the mo but I've got the afternoon off so my aim is to at least comment on your new poem (I just skimmed it quickly and it's stunning but you deserve a far better comment than that)

    untill later
    bye

oooh how cunning! I was never any good at anagrams, that and i have a wierd name so i'd probably have a nonsense anagram anyway. xxx
  • bachelorette on August 9, 2005
I have it. I got it for my birthday back in March, but I've just not opened it yet. I've been trying to finish a novel (inpsired by her) before I got any deeper into her complexities. I will definitely read it. It's sitting right beside me, actually, this moment. Yep, there it is.

Have you read 'Piece by Piece', Tori's kinda-autobiography?! If you haven't, you need a butt-kick [instead of me for a change ] and go and get it! I'm only a few pages in and already i'm hooked, she's just so inspirational ♥

  • neurossection on July 24, 2005
OMG, a Tori-inspired novel! I'm also a huge fan of Tori. Her work can be really inpiring no matter what art form your in, but specially for writers, I think. Under the Pink in my favorite CD of hers ::melts:: I'll start reading this immidietly.
  • Imokon on July 22, 2005
Hi, I just randomly clicked on your name from the list (ok so I got bored too) and honestly? that's some neat-o pair of pin-heels. Love the story.
  • bachelorette on July 19, 2005
Thanks. I kept thinking I should upgrade from sequence to ribbon ties.

Actually (and this is just between you, me, and anyone who bothers to read this), I'm all for innocence. I just thought it would sound cool. But there's no point in trying to save the innocent, so corrupt away.

  • Carved-In-Ankh on July 15, 2005
Hey! You like corrupting the innocent too?
  • bachelorette on June 7, 2005
I feel like maybe it's been forever since I've seen you around. But I've been taking some time off from AP to visit with family and now I'm in Virginia with my dad. I will try and return next month. Perhaps we can see more of each other then? I too miss our uncoventional conversations and Brendan Small. I hope work is smooth sailing and everything. Anyway, thanks for leaving a note. I will hopefully talk to you by way of IM soon.

    hey kid, what's up??
I miss you! *sigh*, we've had some good times, havn't we?
I have this beautiful collection of Brendan Small's songs. They really are quite good.
Sorry I haven't written in awhile. I've been so so so busy with work and stuff. I just thought you should know that I miss our conversations
    Hope you're doing well!!

Well, I have two very good excuses.
    1. My memory stick crashed and I failed to have a back-up on my computer... so all 2 pages I had of chapter 8 vanished.

    2. I've had horrible allergies this past week and a half and haven't written much because of medication.

I'm working on it, though. I've got a good page going so far. Hopefully tomorrow (later today, actually) I'll feel clear enough to attempt to finish the chapter and post it by the end of the weekend.

    Thanks always for your support.

    -K

Really glad you got your computer fixed. It's been kind of lonely without you.
  • SpydurPoet on April 8, 2005
HEY! Where is part 8? I fixed my computer so I could read the rest of your story and there is none!! Write on. ~~SpydurPoet~~

ALL HAIL AND WORSHIP THE GREAT GODDESS TORI! She's my fave gurl too...as well as Miz Sexton...brilliance does not begin to cover their skills and genius...le sigh. But just wanted to stop by and say hello and..."Threads that are golden, don't break easily..."

Hey, long time no read. It did get frustrating on WC. I just wasn't getting any real feedback, and 50 dollars a year is just too much. Then I had all of these people I didn't know asking me to read their stuff. I actually have another account on WC, trying to keep a low(er) profile, though (by the same name: Lotus, but shh, don't tell anyone ). Anyway, I hope you keep writing. I greatly enjoyed your stuff.

I was so sorry to see you leave W.com, your work was definitely one of the highlights of the whole experience. Can't say I blame you though . . . between the 1-star drive by's and the subscription increases. Ah well, I see you've reinvented yourself again, best of luck with everything.

Not to filly with you too much, but you're dobby, real dobby. My appy polly logies if you think my slovos (words, that is) seem like a flip chepooka, but I admire your writing. Your slovos are dorogoy (valuable, that is) to me. Some, I must admit, seems queer as a clockwork orange, but you do it well, and I viddy a bolshy future ahead of you. I can feel it way down in my yarbles, which may have been kicked one too many times anyway. Keep up the good rabbit. Goodbye and happy lubbilubbing!

heya, ok just wanted to say I'm soo sorry if all my replies to your comments come up more than once. I'm having a bit of a brain freeze day and when I added them, I didn't think I had replied to your comments so I deleted them and replied properly to yours, except I messed that up somehow and had to do it again...lol. aaanyway, just thought I'd let you know, sorry if your whole screen is full of my comments when you come on! oh yeah, I know I've said it in my replies but thanks loads and loads for all your comments, I really do appreciate them. ok...I'm going back to bed know, I think I need some sleep.
