Most interesting to see your new work and remarks from all who worship at the fount of your verse. I see you are prolific, pushing the envelope, and still profoundly poor at mechanics. *tsk-tsk-tsk* Your writing is incredibly revealing. Most of it is brilliant -- though much of it is too shocking for my taste, you'll recall -- and you remain a clever storyteller. Your best pieces for me continue to be simple, everyday life-glances shared in uncomplicated, transparent, pinpoint words. I do believe I'm meeting the real you behind this body of work -- the artist only hinted at in your paintings. You have a prodigious talent; I'm glad to see you've found a venue for it, finally. -- Caro

Let's do him a fresco and paint his kitchen ceiling with trailing vines and putti
and fill his fridge with milk and beer and stuff so he doesn't have to go shopping.

Hope you are enjoying your hols David.
Just stopped by to tell you that I am putting in a complaint to the kharma people at the Buddha gardens. Instead of being returned as a pussy cat plaything of The Bear in the next incarnation, I want some of your talent. It is highly unfair that one person should have so much.
  • Redstormy on July 19, 2006

I love your home page here and the pic is great! Are you in the Hiawassee area? I think that as a new poet you are headed up a great highway and what I've read so far is good! Keep writing old man and share those tales of your life! joy

Hello, David. I am so pleased to share this with you! You see, I live by a commitment to handle my own burdens and not whine about hard things are. I only told you about the phone bill because I didn't want you to think I left or didn't like it here. And you were so nice to pay the silver - which I can repay with points.
Anyway - the State sent the phone company a restitution payment for me. All of sudden, when they knew I wasn't trying to bamboozle them, they treated me like a queen. AND, they
said as an apology for the upset I had been through with their rude employees, they waived the installation fee and gave me
    one month of DSL!!!
Now, if I had whined and asked for money, or taken money,
the outcome would have been far different.
And Yippee, I now will have DSL - and won't need an ISP, so
will be paying only about $6.00 for the DSL...
I live by Karmic law and it works for me.
Big hugs and thanks - Sherry

I noticed that you mentioned you were born in New England. May I inquire as to whereabouts? I was born in Kingsville, Texas (yes, Aggie country), but I was raised in Maine. I loved it up there. Drop me a line. Write on. ~*~SP~*~

Doh. They all get here before me. I forget to visit pages most times. I read but often do not comment because my English is odd. Stefan (DeBracey) usually do the commenting but he is too sick for concentration these last days and he has got behind.
  • Cvillelisa on April 7, 2006

Welcome to AP... this is a great place... don't dive into all the nonsense and you'll find some good poetry and some good people to get to know

any friend of Red's is always a welcome newbie..
  • ca ne fait rien on April 6, 2006
Thanks for your comment on my poem- Yes, quite, there is nothing as defenceless as a kitten so in anyone's logic it makes faith questionable. Got to go to work in a minute, but will read your poems later on today.
  • Redstormy on April 5, 2006
Welcome to All Poetry David.. I think you will fit in well.
It's huge, so you'll have to comment so people will know you
are here. But I have no doubt you will make friends quickly.
