Airborne Ed on February 3, 2007I seen your contest for the military. I have been serving in uniform for little over 21 years. i like your book list probably my favorite one on there is "The Masque of the Red Death" by poe. it is a great book. if u like history, or war books u should check out Fallen Angels. it is a book about the Vietnam War. it is an easy read i read it like 5 years ago but it is such a good book that i finished it in 3 days. and in my world of video games and other such distractions at the time 3 days was definatly an accomplishment. anyways i think u should check it our. I got my own quote or saying for ur collection two. but it is more like a motto, the motto i live by. " If your Optimistic all the time you have a longer way to fall when rejection hits, If ur Pesemistic your already on ur way back up." anyways its time to check out ur poetry. hope u get a chance to look at that book.

After having read over the list of things you like I have to recommend "John Brown's Body" (the Book) by Stephen Vincent Benet. It is an epic (book length)poem about the Civil War -- probably the best book ever written on that war.
