Freakishbob on March 2, 2006funky and 70's eh? have you heard of a project called ayreon?? there a metal opera (bare with me now) they use a lot of 70's synthasizers and they have a kind of a pink floyd floating feel to a lot of there stuff...and each album tells a story...brucke dickonsin (the lead vox for iron maiden) is on one of there albums (they never have the same musicians) there really good i suggest you check them out. im a big fan of it.
