Good money going to waste would be less confusing..... :'
-
I guess it would be sort of cool to be logged on 24/7 but it is kind of confusing for your fans.... It refreshes every 9 minutes and that is even more confusing.... maybe that is why you did it in the first place....LOL! I would not discount the possibility.....
-
Do you LIVE on this site?? I swear everytime I get on there you are!
-
-
Just a note --- are you familiar with (a) "A Poet's Guide to poetry" by Mary Kinzie -- It is not your run-of-the-mill "handbook" and i have found it to be excellent.; ( "How to Read & Understand Poetry" --- Professor Willard Spiegelman has a tape (and on CD now, I think) lecture series that is superb. It's a bit pricey and I got mine on eBay a few years ago.

what do you mean when you say minor changes -in reference to your pic?>?

Hi Erin, hope your holidays were terrific. Love what you're doing with the trisect. Three Ravens, well what can I say, of course I adored that one!
I've been experimenting with a similar set of semantics in my prose, and found it very helpful to check out your column of your trisect form.
Thanks for sharing!

I think I would rather address you as Zahhar now. LOL! The name fits perfectly because you are most defintley vastley open. I didn't even find your article directly through AP. I googled Zahhar because it was like in all of your ghazal poem things and I kept thinking, "Who the freak is Zahhar!" but now I know it is you which sounds so flippin' cool that I am going to call you that instead of Erin. LOL! I love it. (and an angel gave it to you is whats more!) I believe my favorite so far is "Flawed" (ghazal #38) under "Kismet". Mr.Zahhar....LOL! hahe!! You even may have Arabic attributes....just a thought.
I am going to include some of the material I found in the ghazals in the story.
Oh and another thing. You said you didn't think it right for someone to change their name. OOPs! sorry....LOL! I am sorry If this is a little too much but I am high on soda and I can't get over Zahhar!!!!!!!!!!
-
heya, I need to know if youre going to enter the contest I invited you to or not, so i can know if there is any extention to be made.
-
I can't stop laughing. I mean i really can't. It's not to be controled. I just read all of these comments because every day that passes you become a little more interesting but this was just insane. "Is Erin your real name?" LOL!!!!!!!!! Or wait a minute my favorite, that chick up there calls you arrogant and you reply " you have the wrong guy. my name is erin." because she really does have the wrong guy. how does one do that on this site? LOL!!! Or another,"You look like Jack from Lost the show." Well, you kinda' do but that's beside the point. Anyway I just found all of it hilarious. KAY

hey Erin,
Just wanted to say "HI!"
i'm getting a LOT better at typing. I can do the homekeys and E and H I can 11 words per minutes in two days. Cool! Anyways.. guess what happened?? My dad called my Dojo and told master Ron that I wasnt interested in karate anymore and that i was gonna quit. that was a lie and i'm furious at him!
gtg bell rang!

Could you perhaps provide me with some tutelage? I have published a book of poetry and my biggest fear is that I will be made a fool of once people "in the know" rip it to shreds. I never expected anyone to publish it because I knew in my heart it was not "real" poetry.

Unbelievably good.....inspirational

Your work has definately intruiged me and so far I've had a quick glance over and I have to say I like what I say. I haven't commented on anything yet but I will make a point of doing so when I've read more closely. You are a very talented writer.

wow they have lifetime memberships hmmmm did not know this

Hi Paw,
I'm happy you're curious about my work. I might suggest starting with the "Flagship Examples" listed above. The most recent two posts are very experimental, utilizing a new form I've invented that's non-trivial to explain. I'll write an article on the form once I've written a few more "trisects" (that's what I'm calling the form). But, if you start reading my work with the two trisects I've posted, I think you'll get the wrong impression.
Cheers!

Hi Erin. I haven't read any of your work yet. Your biog engaged me enough to just say I respect your attitude and creative-base, even before I know how you write. To be a poet as a calling is something I wish I had been brave enough to do in my youth. I am branching my degree out into creative-writing and will one day flick the burd at pay-checks, so I can paint with the words I feel about the things I have known.
I'm going to take my time with what I eventually read of yours, but not just yet; my rice&chicken is boiling and I have to tidy my flat for a date tomorrow...
I'll be back. Edited on Dec 13, 2:49 p.m. because ''.

Zahhar
A random breeze bends boughs of ancient wisdom
esoteric echoes are filtered through the canopy
Orphean notes rise and fall like an ethereal veil
lifted by the winds of timeless time;
inchoate humming of a monotone
ascending with haunting resonance
nameless notes multiply like stray thoughts.
Symphonies of life play forest vines
Orpheus laments the spoken word
nature sings herself to sleep
growing silently underground.
There ya go Stefan

CC: did you see "On an Unfinished Life"? it is written in memory of del.
btw, pardon lisa's post above. she apparently had me confused with the messiah.
-
I find your work very interesting and I too like Tennyson in fact it is the old poetry writers that has always kept my imagination stirred. I do not have particular style but found Del's work something that I wanted to learn how to do. I must add you to my favorites and your poetry works for me.
-
Hey nice pic there. nice knowing you. interesting page maybe i'll stop by to read your poems
-
i think you've got the wrong guy. my name's erin.
-
Christ, you are arrogant. There are other people who know a bit of shit. I didn't want to post this on the Boards.
And I'll even include an apology because I'm not usually one to do something like this so I must be in a state of inspiration.
Lisa

Yeah. The photo works! Nice page.
