Hey, I thought I would stop by and say hello. Hope you are well.
  • Pari Ali on March 16, 2008
Hello Kyla how are you, I had been kidnapped by aliens but they retunred me after two years as after all their searching and prodding they still could not find what they were looking for ; a brain... so in disgust they let me go... and so here I am back to doing the only thing I can think of doing, writing poetry, but I am afraid they may have now taken you instead.
  • SadmanJim : Yuse is MIA? on July 11, 2007
I realize I haven't logged on to the site to read ANYONE's poetry in quite a while... but I thought for sure the wait would be punctuated with a wonderful new piece from you, Yuse.
    {sigh}
I'll just have to go back and read some of your old stuff, which usually brings a smile to my tired face.
Hoping you are well, because we all deserve to be...

    Jim

Perhaps it's not missing in action,
but sleeping aloft in some cloud?
Or out on a boat on the sea?
Maybe it's in with the laundry,
Or stuck in the soup with a pea?

  • ArtFullyMe on June 19, 2007

    Oh Yuse oh Yuse
    Oh Yusefel Yuse
    where did thy muse
    go missing?

Hope your Christmas was a merry one!
  • lordoftherings on December 24, 2005
    I just stopped by today
Hope you are having a wonderful day
    That's festive and really gay
Because I would have it no other way

    Champagne at midnight...bootie call,
watch out for St. Nick, he ain't that tall
Drink moderately so you don't fall
And if you're quesy--lean against the wall

What started out as a little note
Became a poem the size of a boat
    My head is medically afloat
My dog has now turned into a goat

    Happy Holidays Gregg

No, i don't get in a tizz and go all poker faced like her, coo they used to burn your skin they were so acid, I know you are busy, so i just sent you an IM, mind you i could have sent an email..
But i do look more liek her every day.. so i make an extra effort to smile a lot, so my mouth doesn't droop.. i look like some stupid imbecilic cheshire cat but at least i think i look better!
  • Yusefeligirl on September 7, 2005
Dearest sister your rebuke took me quite by surprise,
I'm shocked that you think that I wear old mums guise!
But if her resemblance should show in us two
I fear it appears to have shown up in you!
The way she would sit and get in such a tizz
When in truth there was nothing, but nothing, amiss.
Imaginary things blown quite out of proportion
The facts of the matter underwent such contortion
That soon she'd be boiling and 'bout to explode
But quite what was wrong we never would know!

My AP manners are most shockingly poor
I shan't be flitting by here anymore
Without taking a minute of my overspent time
To leave a hello for my favourites on line!

  • Barb Davidson on September 7, 2005
I'm beginning to think you are doing a mum,
    for whatever i ask you,
    you seem to stay stumb,
    the silent routine
that was acommpanied by that glare,
that pursed lip, sour puss face,
    the dagger encrusted stare.
    so open your mush
    at least to say hi,
    or can't stop just passing,
    so fuck off and goodbye!

Hmm looks like we both visited the offices of the PLO.. i only commented on one piece, it's a good job he/she doesn't live in England at the moment, he'd be arrested.. or better still shot in the head! Talk about a closed mind (unlike me of course, hehe)

  • B2oH on July 23, 2005
Ah...attempted to revisit your latest...but I see it's left town already.

  • SaNoOnE on July 23, 2005
um actually i do not assume. i am very aware that there are many israelis in Israel against the occupation and against whatever is going on on Israel's side..i too believe that there wont be peace..but where we differ is the part that just because there will be no peace does not mean a side will not win...plus, what u are saying is the same as what Sharon said earlier, "i believe that we can live together with the palestinians." however, that's a little too late...Arabs never invited you to Palestine, so the Jews where never welcome..and dont forget that it was not the arabs that sold the lands....Now when you come to someone's home without an invitation, of course the people will not welcome you. Then, you begin to take over their home and then the war starts. You cannot simply go to a home and claim that it was yours a thousand years ago...let alone that that statement is invalid because the arabs were there before the jews. Arabs in Saudi Arabia might be somewhat brainwashed and think only one way of Israelis..but not in America..i know that there are Israeli's out there that support peace adn all that stuff. However arabs in arab countries of course would never see Israelis or jews as good people because they have been deceived by them so many times. And this goes back to the time the khayber jews. They were living peacefully with the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and when they deceived him, he ordered them out of Medina. Also, the jews have always found peace with the Muslims. During the time of Muslim Spain, was it not the Muslims that accepted te jews, welcomed them, and let them live total freedom. However, many jews deceived the arabs and the Muslims and after a while, the Muslims and arabs gave up...An example that i could personally relate to, being Algerian, was the jews in Algeria. Was it not an Algerian jew that opened the Bab El-Wad gate for the French to first occupy Algeria...This is why all the ALgerian jews where expelled from algeria and left for france. I totally see your side of the picture and thank you very much i am not brainwashed...but i dont agree with you..but you know that's okay the truth will one day appear and we will see who's write...but for now everyone is free to their own opinion.
