where i've wanted to live for soo long...that's awesome that you live there...and it's cool you are a goth..i have similar characteristics of a goth..in some ways...and in the comment above that's awesome that you like classical music...i love classical music along with rock...(most people think that they're too opposite...)..can't wait to read your poems..

hey, wolfpoet. i think i should probly add you to my favorites. you are one of the best i have seen on this site... and you sound like a TRUE goth, no the fake fashion ones you described. I am running a little contest. It is more as a good deed for someone I do not know. I am hoping you are willing to do a good deed as well. interesting poems...you write about stuff i dont normally think about...i listen to a lot of music and am in a metal band myself and i have a few friends that listen to obituary, carcas, slayer, canibal corpse and other death metal bands
me - i'm more obsessed with my ex girl-friends and my pathetic life...i relate to more poison the well, from autumn to ashes, silverstein, atreyu and stuff like that, but i also like a lot of 90's alternative/indie rock and classic rock/country

i really like your poetry. you say you like darker metal, so are you into Cradle of Filth (im a fan since their demo total fucking darkness). if so ever been to one of their concerts? they are crazy!!!! yet i feel right at home. anyways your poetry is amazing. i really like it. anyways if you like death metal (as i do) then some bands to check out are, slayer(obviouly), Cradle of Filth(which im sure you've heard of), DragonLord(great band formed of members from the bands Death and Testiment), Razed in black(industrialish black metal), Switched (cool band from ohio usa) Soil, kalis, godhead, murderdolls, white zombie, and of corse Black Sabbath (this is a compilation of MY favorite bands, and if you like dark metal[black/death metal] then you should check some of these bands out. well back to the main subject of my post, i think you are very talented poet, and i enjoy your works. when i get a few extra miniuts to tommorow(federal holiday) i'll check out the rest of your stuff. cant wait for the good reads. thanks.

Is it deja vu or are we the two great minds that think alike? I seem to be able to relate to any and everything you write about, and that is rare for me. Whether it skirts the darkness, the light, societal attitudes, personal depression or whatever else, you write with a beauteous skill that is both explanatory and introspective. I do love your writing. All right, today I add you to my (visible) list of favorite poets.

Right, bear with me, here is an unfinished poem, part of which touches on what I shall say after.

AN APOLOGY

My intention
was to know you
To put a smile upon your face
To comfort and befriend you
In an unusual embrace

My intention
was to honour you
With words carved for your soul
A testament to what you are
'Though in truth I could not know

The world is full of bad advice
That poured forth from my tongue
I wanted to bring sunshine
But really I brought none

The world is full of bad advice
I offered again and again
I wanted to give healing
But instead I brought you pain

OK, the point I'm making is that one of the best pieces of advice I was ever given is that the world is full of bad advice.
That said, I say go with your heart! To thine own self be true.
