pattyann, thank you for gracing this page! Indeed I have found myself, much to my surprise. This has led to a level of peace and love for being that only 10 short years ago seemed impossible. Seems now that it has been my life's purpose.
I do write about many of my experiences, and epiphanies, hoping to share some of the insights I've had leading to this peace.
    Thanks for stopping by!
    peace

Doug, I enjoyed your story so much that I decided to stop by and have a look at your author page. You seem to have wisdom beyond your years. Many people our age are still struggling to find themselves and learn what life is all about. They continue to struggle with something within that they haven't yet figured out.

I have found peace in my life, and it looks as if you have as well. I would like to thank you again for gracing my contest with your wonderful story of your beloved brother. Hugs, Patricia

OK...next collaborative effort unless you find a new partner for such things is an acrostic poem based on our AP names. I'm only suggesting this because it came to mind and I already have mine done, so here goes:

    WATUWANT

    Whatever
    A "divine masculine"
    Type
    Understands as
    Wisdom,
    Always know that
    Nerdiness such as his
    Touches the heart.

    Your turn...

  • wbiro on October 22, 2005
Well, Doug, your theories look interesting, but I'm waiting for the poem that explains why you are fishing there, now THAT would be DEEP! lol
  • poetryality on October 20, 2005
Hey Doug! I like what your grandpappy said, so did my mom, but hers went: "You catch more flies with honey than you do shit" Which I understand now to mean, be nice to others and you get better results. As a child I wondered why anyone would want to catch flies. LOL

    Take care my friend!

    Renee
