I probably woulda been a tad bit angry, but I wouldn't obsess over it... it is, after all, only the internet and things will happen like this, so you might as well accept them... You did, in fact, accuse me of stealing, by suggesting that somebody check up on me to see if i was doing so - I know many people on this site and it offends me that you would say something like that, but I will not obsess over it, I apologize if you offended by what I say, but I do no take it back.

QR...I didn't accuse you of stealing...I was pointing out the theft of poems shakes our security, our confidence, and our faith in mankind. 'Forgetting' it isn't an option. I've learned from history that when people sat and were complacent because 'after all, it wasn't MY country Hitler wanted' (they didn't think it should be THEIR problem,)' there was no one left to stand up for them when he did want their country. If you aren't a part of the solution, then you are a part of the problem. I do wonder if you'd have a different opinion if your poems had been used freely. m

im not stealing poems, get off my ass, I was simply stating my opinions... just cause you old people have nothing better to do but sit around and bicker about people who like your work and post it over the internet doesn't mean it should become my problem... Im not a new poet, i dont know why you would say I am, Ive been here for a year, and just cause i dont post on everything i read doesnt mean i havent been here for a while... if you want to disagree, disagree, but dont accuse me of stealing.

Thanks for suggesting Brian Andreas...I had considered illustrating my own work, a la Silverstein and Andreas. This may give me the confidence to attempt it.

Wow WaryDreamer. Thank you. =D As I mentioned to NurseChilly, I do ever so miss the salty breeze upon my skin and the scent of the ocean's kiss as it lingers in my wake. Hmmm....well, I'm glad you liked the poem. I had fun writing it, and I'm glad you could enjoy the journey. HUGS

I hope you do not delete your poem. It tells the truth of fear, despair, hope, and gratitude. All said in a humorous way, but with decorum.
I can only imagine the anxiety that such new must put one in.
    Hugs for your bravery ....
    And Hugs for your humour.

Wary, Thank you so much for your ecnouragement! Since no one around home seems to understand anything about what i'm going through it's nice I have friends that do! I get no explanation from him, why he pushed me away for so long and now he doesn't understand why I don't love him! Not a clue, he must be brain dead and heartless! [[[[[hugs]]]]] and thank you again!

lol liked your comment.. personally i hate 7 year old poems. but sometimes i have to just release them on certain days.. part of healing i guess... that was sooo not a normal write for me... lol... but i had to let it go today of all days. Thank you for reading and well, please dont go bye that poem as what kind of author i am. I did do a series of my mom poems.. but they are in the past now.. i guess what ever surfaces... surfaces...personally i think my mom poems suck.. but after.. i feel better.. i see that i really am ok... call it free therapy i guess... i do prefer nature tho.. *hugs* and thank you for reading :) always appreciate you.

Hi. Thanks for the submission to my challenge. Don't worry if you get a screen that says no such page exists (or something like that) It just means that the site is funky, but your comment should post anyway. You should also be able to edit. If you go and look at your poem again, you will probably see that it did successfully edit. Well, I am off to read the new poems, including yours.

OK -- so where is your muse??? I know you are busy, but I know for a fact that those words are spinning tales in your head as we speak. Let them loose!

Hi, thanks for your comments. Yes, I quite agree with you. I thought hard about removing a few stanzas, ended with removing only two. I'm away for a week, and when I will return, I hope to read some of your work. Best regards

I had goof up earlier this week, and made a reply to Dakota thinking it was she who had posted on one of my poems about her husband. I errored as it was you, and posted the reply on your poems, 'Another thought.....& You did go away', as I felt it did apply there. Please don't think less of the reply, as they were very good and heart felt poems. Your work is very good, and you show a lot of emotion in your work. I just don't want you to feel cheated by the reply as I felt you deserved the comment.
Thank you for your comments on my work, and keep your excellent work.

Today was a disaster on this site! All comments and poems entered after about 2:30 PM were lost. I just wanted you to know I saw the comment you made about my poem 'Playing Solitaire'. I said I appreciated all the thought you put into your comments. I liked everything you said. Thank you! :-) Maureen

Thank you for you kind comments. I am a sentimentalist at heart, a hopeless romantic :o)
My remarks regarding poetry here, are just me, being me.
    Thaks again,

Ahh I see, thank you for clarifying that up for me. I am always amused when I can see a tasteful poem written about Rod Stewart...in fact until I read your poem I didn't think it could have been done! Bravo =P

I looked for the poem you mentioned but couldn't find it.
I did find a page of many of Edgar Guest poems I thought you may want to visit. Wings

Yeah, I know. It's an everchanging piece. I know that one particularly needs reworking. I was three sheets to the wind when I wrote it though, so you can't expect perfection in a drunken stuper. I was fighting with my best friend on his door step when I yelled at him to bring me a paper and pen. LOL Nope, me no Cancer. I'm an half cherokee, half irish Aries. That's where the lust for nature comes from.

Thank you...it's scary to undress my emotions for other people to read, and this is a major step for me. Your kind comments (and those of others) may give me courage to follow some dreams I have. m

I loved Early Morning Mirage. It was EXTREMELY MOVING! Must have been hard to write. I look forward to reading more of your work.
