    Hi,

Saw your response to the question asked in the poll and realized it has been a long time since I heard from you. Hope you are well. I haven't been writing many poems for awhile now..things aren't the same as they used to be (different people..different contests). Inspiration seems to be in short supply these days. Hopefully, that will change.

    Welcome back!
    ♥ Maureen

I stand corrected...you do know the pieces "brain"...and your right about dreams although life would be boring without them...I'm often reminded of something I read sometime ago called "your life is your art" the last sentence said "have you ever known an artist or dreamer who "retired".....peace abel

~sigh~ Yes, Penny.. When I was waaayyy young, I was sooo embarrassed to have a name such as Marilyn. I was afraid someone would associate me with the (then) scandalously sensual Marilyn Monroe. ...Of course, now that I'm older, ...I'm pretty horrified that no one ever did....yep...pretty sure that didn't happen even once!
...I moved back to my hometown, and it's still a small community. If someone doesn't recognize the "m" ...it just means they are new in town.
Here's wishing you holiday greetings as well.

I'm sorry they made you take down your Tarot collection. They were great. Perhaps you can just remove the pictures hun. Certainly there are no laws against your interpretation on the cards in general. They were wonderful writes.
  • Deke on September 5, 2003
I read what you said in the comments on the seasons, and how you are just glad to wake up in the morning at your age no matter the season. You do realize that you and I are the same age don't you? Therefore you cannot be getting old, because I am not yet. I don't plan to get old for several more years. Anyway, I will go see now what new you have up. Take care.

Your Masters degree huh? Boy, and I just this month got my Associates degree, and we are the same age. Never really cared to much for teachers until I began going to college; I met a teacher lady now a friend that I think the world of, and I found out that teachers are alright after all. I am glad that I found your page. By the way, what do you teach?

Hey there Wary Slowly but surely its starting to feel more like home. I've still got boxes packed to the ceiling and i'm not sure where the contents are going to go(cause the house is full already) lol, but i'm enjoying it nonetheless. I hadn't realized the accumulation of junk could happen so rapidly, but too, i hadn't realized we had spent 10 years in our old home either. The majority of my days now are associated with 3 piles... the stay pile, the yard sale pile, and the OMG that's so hideous i can't believe i kepted that but its going in the trash now pile. Hehe, the last two piles seem to be gettin the most attention.
I didn't think i would adjust to city life as well as i have, but the street is quiet and thus far, i've got no nosey neighbors so its all looking good.
I hope that all is well with you
