Hey Jer. Long time no see. Are you back in Canada now? I'm still working away at good old ABU, but I'm graduating this year if all goes as planned.
-
Hey there, it has been a long time, I just got on today myself, I think It's been years, When you focus your energy on paying bills it's hard to find time to write. Anyway Where are you now??? Looking for an update. ~K

The Bard : Welcome "home" on August 22, 2007
Jeremy... welcome back to Canada eh! I know a little of your experience in returning... I was away for only 8 months, but even that creates a separation. I also leave behind new friends that I found there: in church, in the local CMA chapter, at work. But then, that's my life it seems... to be here and there without roots.
I am glad you can spend more time with Sarah and Jeremy... et al.
Take care my friend... and if you ever want to visit Calgary... I have a spare room!

I just have to say, that I love the new intro, very thoughtful, and honest. It also reminds me of the beginning of a new TV series. Or at least a new season or something after a big ol' change. Just thought I'd share, not belittle, it is great, but share that thought. There's the whole voice-over thing in Grey's Anatomy though, and I've been watching a lot of that, so I might just have it on the brain. It is good to have you just down the road again, though. I know it must be really hard, but it's good to me. I didn't find it anywhere near as weird as I thought I would, which is very good.
-
hey. I was wondering if you still were coming to my wedding on Saturday. Let me know ok. I didn't have any other way to get a hold of you...

The Bard : Hey there kid... on June 12, 2007
Relevance .... what an elusive thing. One could well ask whether anyone achieves relevance. The question is... relevance with respect to what?
I think the ONLY relevance there is is found in our relationship to Christ. That sounds trite... or cliche almost... but of what relevance is anything else really.
We look for meaning in relationships, in jobs, in fame or fortune... but as Solomon would say, that all turns out to be vanity / meaningless.
As the good ol' scripture says... if you want to find yourself, you have to lose yourself... almost sounds Zen-like... but scripture had it first.
So... if you want relevance... you have to stop trying to find it, and let it find you in service to Christ... wherever he places you, regardless of circumstance.
How's that neph?

i hope you are well.
God bless you, man.-- justin

Whoo! I got to be your 100th poem! I'm so honoured!
-
Oh hi! Thanks for stopping by for a visit. I've never actually met another Wade before, first, middle, last, or maiden name Wade is actually my middle name, but I thought it sounded more poetic than "Jeremy". I mean, no Jeremy was ever known for anything. Maybe once Jeremy Sumpter grows up, Jeremys worldwide will celebrate that one of us has 'made it'. But until then, I shall keep my nom de plume as Wade
JWM
-
Had to stop by and check you out, as my maiden name is Wade. LOL. Curiousity got the best of me. I too, am a HUGE Robert Frost fan, I went to the Frost Place this past summer and had the time of my life. Will have to read some more of your work. Keep that pen flowing.
-
Thank you for taking the time to read my author page, and adding me to your favorites. I am humbled that you consider my work worthy. I am off to read some of your poetry now. Be blessed!
Much Love ♥

Yay!! Five left!!! and 10 more days to go!! One every other day isn't so bad, now is it? I don't think so.. especially if you keep up this crazy cold meds thing.. You and your crazy cold meds.
I miss you.

-
You didn't update yet! Only 8 more to go! 8 in 22 days! That's only one every 2.75 days! And with the time difference... ok.. I'm done that. Let's see.. Robert Redford is 69.. that's almost 70! I didn't realize he was that old.. Sorry.. anyway.. I think you can make the 8 in 22 days.. no problems there! I'm sure I could come up with a topic or two to write about.. haha.. have a good one! Edited on Aug 18, 8:07 because 'wanted the little people there..'.

J, I do believe you should write poems in French.
"la lune est grande et blanche dans le ciel noir.
les enfants dorment dans leurs lits,
et les etudiants veulent dormir, mais il faut finir les taches stupides."
ok, i suck at this....but you don't!

You have tremendous depth of thought for one so young, but I'm intrigued, if you're from the Czech Republic, is English your first or second language?
Robin.
-
Ciao, J
How's it going? I hope all's well. I really enjoy reading your work; makes me feel connected to our past lives at ABU. It's nice to remember the so-called 'old times'. I was actually talking to a girl in my res who's on her way to ABU next year, and I told her all about it...I think I may have scared her a bit by telling her about all the work. My bad..I hope she doesn't shy away from ABU because of me!
Anyways, it's starting to get late and I still have some work to do. Spring is coming! YAY!!
Bon soir et bonne chance!

Hi Scarletphantom,
I somehow missed this comment Thanks, and God bless you, too. I've read some of your poetry, and will try to come back and comment on it, but I haven't had time yet. I just noticed your comment now, and it's 11pm over here in Europe, so I can't guarantee that it would make much sense if I were to write anything

I love that movie!! 3 year old Thomas does too- the mice are his favourite. I hope you are having one superfantabulous day filled with love, laughs, and of course, spoons.. To stir your coffee with.. yes...

Hi Ce!! Always great the hear from you! It is, indeed, German, and it means "The German language here is really something else, but very nice. The people are always very friendly-- one feels very quickly accepted and comfortable"
Things are going well, after 3 months in Austria, I'm now in Prague, at least until May!
JWM
-
Hi Wade,
I don't often check in here anymore but I wanted to say hello, to you, and see how things are going with you too.
I see your are on a mission, may God bless and keep you as you travel life's road....
I read this on your page:
Die deutsche Sprache hier ist wirklich etwas anders, aber sehr schön. Die Leute sind immer sehr freundlich- man füllt sich schnell angenommen und bequem.
Is this German, can you tell me what this means???
Thanks for all you do, and big blessings to you!!
Hugs...~ Ce

Congrats on your finishing of the ABU. We'll miss you around here kiddo. Edited on Oct 28, 7:25 p.m. because 'I sounded like a dorky little kid... '.
-
Yes, you should. Maybe you could work for CSIS or something...or maybe you should go big-time and work as a language expert for the CIA! ooooo Agent J, has a nice ring to it
-A-
-
No, I pretty much had it figured out, but then your comment confirmed it. I should be a private eye.
JWM
-
Haha did you think that I was somebody different before my little "13" comment? I was thinking that maybe you would guess that I was somebody else whose name starts with A and is a science geek, because a lot of my info can describe her as well, but she's not a dog like I am LOL
"I am Zorro!!!!!"
lol
-A-
-
I thought I knew who you were, but then your comment about not being 13 really gave it away. Don't worry, your secret is safe with me!
"Who was that masked poet?!"
JWM
-
Perhaps...Maybe....Because science IS better! Gotta love chemistry and biology and physics and psychology and geology and ALL THAT FUN STUFF!!! But then again, look who I'm talking to, the guy who could pretty much translate the Bible into any language Science, in my mind, is the way to go, but it's not for everyone, which is why we are all different. If everyone thought that science was better, I wouldn't have NEAR as much fun with the debates
-A- (I'm sooo not 13 years old)
-
Hmmmm... Very interesting... I believe I might have a clue as to who you are... might you spend a little bit of time convincing me that science is better? Perhaps? Maybe?
