it's all in my livejournal.
or on scraps of paper in different notebooks.
most is really incoherent and random.
I paint it instead.
-
ahh I know, I never come on here any more! I still write too, but I just never post stuff... maybe we'll get back into the swing of things more in the summer.
I still think it's amazingly cool how I met you completely randomly online and then we discovered we had the same flute teacher =p
-
Oh, that's awesome. I've always wanted to see a live orchestra.
I do know what the writer's block is from. I spent two and a half years with a guy who ended up killing my self-esteem and costing me most of my friends, and more recently it's become worse (which is why I couldn't write). So I finally ended things, and I'm feeling loads better. I'll probably start writing again here soon.
Not a whole lot is new with me. I'm going shopping today with a friend I haven't seen in a while, so I'm pretty excited.
-
Aww, thanks. I really, really appreciate that. I hope to start posting again soon, but right now I'm having the worst writer's to date. It's awful.
How are things with you? It's been a while.
-
Christian life is like being in a boat with Jesus.....I love that part on your page....and the one that ends with "if he can bring you to it, he can bring you through it." AMEN!! Your page is great, I love it. I almost forgot to mention the part about grace....a gift that can be found when you are only open enough to accept it, boy that is the truth, AMEN sister! I truly love your page. I came by to thank you for your comment, and ended up getting an umexpected blessing! God never ceases to amaze me. I will definitely read some of your work. God bless you

I haven't talked to you in forever. I've also written only one poem in the past 6 months. How have you been? You also haven't posted any poems in an incredibly long time - have you been writing any?
Talk to you later (well sooner rather than later I hope!)
Laura

~Runs sobbing to your author page!~ I can NOT believe this!! You will never believe this!!!!!! I DON'T HAVE BAND THIS SEMESTER!!!!!! My stupid school is so messed up!! They messed up scheduling stuff so I have to have a study hall instead of band!! There's NOTHING anyone can do!!!! I now haaaate my school !!!
-
That's cool that band camp starts so early for you! Good luck with the double tounging on tenor - that's gotta be really hard, I have a hard enough time on flute with it! A cowboy theme is cool... our songs are Don't Stop me Now, New York State of Mind, Pinball Wizard and Don't Let the Sun go Down on me. Lessons are going good for me, how about you? I've made sure to drink enough water since then so that I don't get dehydrated anymore lol. I'm sorry about the time you blacked out, that's not good. I like the name Bobette, I'm glad you got her back!!! Bassoon is going good, I'm actually decent at it now! Good luck if you end up trying out for the Binghamton Youth Symphony. I probably won't in September. I'm sorry about your director . Wow, PA band is really different. In our high school we have a symphonic band which anyone can join and a concert band which requires auditions. We have section leaders and chair placements in regular band, but just section leaders in marching band. My section leader has a good chance at drum major next year, so if she gets that I'm hoping to get section leader. *crosses fingers* You're right, time does fly!
-
Yeah, it has been a while. I think the last time we talked it was through AP IM... and we kept missing eachother. How are you?
And thanks very much. I really appreciate you saying that.
-
Are you still alive? lol Music camp is next week! YAY! Hope to talk to you soon..

I think one of my turtles is sick I hafta take them to the vet on Thursday at 2:30. :-S ... update: I just got back from the vet. Francine died.. Edited on Jul 13, 3:59 p.m. because ''.

Yay, you're alive!! That's a relief. Sounds like Florida was really fun! Awesome! In 5th grade my band almost went to Florida, but our parents didn't want to send us to another state at such a young age, lol. I'd love to see pictures and hear your duets and solos and the such!!
Sadly, Talie is not the best. Well, I can still play it and it works and everything. Just getting old, and very closed-hole, lol. Whenever I play I'm left with black under my lip because the silver plating wore off Makes me very sad. I'd really like to find a sterling silver with gold lip plate, open holes, and b-foot just to get through high school. (Before my uberly wonderful amazing exceptional wonderful flute in NYC [named Althea]).
The puppy is wonderful. Well, not wonderfully behaved the bites all over my legs and arms would say, but wonderfully cute! Finney and Francine are good also. Enjoying being in WATER during this HOT weather. (ugh, 100s - C'mon, isn't this Minnesota!!?)
I just got American Dream on itunes cause I hadn't heard it before. No idea HOW I haven't heard it, but yeah Anyway, it's awesome! I like it! I also got the hymn "Come Just as You Are" (Um, whoa, no idea how to capitalize THAT title, whoa.) I got a version sung by Crystal Lewis. No idea who she is, but it's BEAUTIFUL.
K, anyway, off to filling out job applications and driving all over town getting them Talk to you later!

Hey!
I haven't talked to you in forever! I've been so busy this summer, and music camp hasn't even started yet! Do you have msn messenger? It is soo much easier to talk on that. My e-mail is Squarest_Cheerio@hotmail.com, if you want to chat that way. Or do you have a myspace? If not, you should get one. It rocks my world. Anyways, tell Bobette I said hello, and Cleo sends hugs and kisses. I absolutely LOVE Romeo and Juliet! I quote it constantly. Have you read any other of Shakespeare's plays? I have an obsession...lol. I'm really into theater, also. Just a random fact I don't think you knew about me. Do you like musicals? By the way, how have you been lately? Has band started for you yet? It's so hot this summer! Band camp is going to be murder!lol Well, I better go. I'm going over to a friend's house today. Talk to you (hopefully) soon!

Good luck at your concert! How did it go? I'm sorry I just got your message now, it would have been cool to go though. I'm sure you did great on your solo!
-
What a pretty and colorful Author page you have!!
-
The concert's tonight! I'm sooo nervous. I don't even know what to do with myself until 7 except clean my flute a few more times I'll let you know how it went after the concert
Yesterday we bought one of the choc lab puppies!!! We can't bring it home until June 15th but we got to go play with them yesterday. They're so adorable. And I think we've "officially" decided on the name Lucy. It's middle name has to be "LeCroy" (after the baseball player Matthew LeCroy) so that my brother will approve of Lucy. But that's okay
K I'm gonna go practice one more time before tonight! Talk to you later
Laura
-
ohhhhhhhh! I ALMOST FORGOT! We're starting to look for another dog again. (Well, my family is. To be honest, I don't want one. When we were at the humane society I just kept thinking "I don't want this dog, I want my Annie ). But last weekend we went to see these chocolate lab puppies. Oh my goodness, they were adorable! They were only 2 weeks old and they couldn't sit or anything, it was sooooooo cute. I still dunno if I'd want to bring one home, but we're thinking about it. And it'll probably be named Lucy
K, bye again! :-P
-
I haven't talked to you in soooo long! How's it going? I have a concert on Thursday :-S Usually I don't really get nervous before band concerts, but at this one I'm playing piccolo on 3 of the 5 songs and I have two flute solos. And like 2 of the piccolo songs are written an octave above the flute part so I'm playing 2 octaves above everyone else. :-S But with our band director being gone, we have a waaaaaaaay better "substitute" one. I already told you that though. Anyway, I'm nervous, but exicted too, lol.
I need to read some of your recent poetry! ( I haven't been here forEVER) But right now I have to study IB Chemistry - what a joy.
Talk to you later! God bless,
Laura

Hello all! (Yes, hello to you too, Bobette...lol). I haven't talked to you in a while! Well, prom is on Saturday and I am going to be sooo busy. I am going with my friend Andy and two other couples. It is going to be alot of fun! Do you know what Caribbean(sp?) food is? Well, I don't...but that's what we are all eating before prom. It could be anything for all I know...eyeballs, liver and onions, dogfood...anything! Ok...now I'm a little nervous. Maybe I should go look it up...lol. Oh by the way, wish Cleo good luck for our concert on Friday. I'll talk to you later. Hope everything is peachy with you!

HEY! I haven't been on in awhile. Sorry. Yea, I love Relient K! I really want the CD with For the times that I feel faint on it. I LOOOOOVE the House Plant Song by Audio Adenaline! lol. That's Hilairous. I loooove phantom of the opera. he he.
We have what's called Kingdom Bound here, and it's a lot like that with all of those people. One of my favorite singers is Jaci Velasquez. I love her voice and ever since I was little I'd go around singing with my hair brush pretending I was her! lol.
And btw, Bobette (my flute) says Howdy doodie to Cleo!
-
Just from reading your author page, you are alot like me...lol. Do you like Relient K? They are my favorite band. I saw them along with Newsboys, Rebecca St. James, Jeremy Camp and some others in concert at Atlantafest(this thingy at Six Flags over Geargia). And I liked the quotes from Gandalf and the Phantom of the Opera. Cleopatra (my clarinet) told me to tell your flute, Hello.

ummm, wow sorry. It says after all that it's a critical review. A critique doesn't mean you have to change your poetry or anything, it's purely a suggestion, a different way of looking at things. I've only been writing 3 years myself, but all that I said I was taught by 3 different English teachers, as well as my 7th grade reading teacher. It was only a suggestion, because I really liked the poem, but I hate it when people just write a little two point thing say "Loved it, nice job." I mean, that's what I think when I see a critcal review is intended. Just a suggestion. I feel rather offended by what you just told me. I know internet isn't a good means of communication, but it seems like you were very offended, and thought that I just did it to get the points. No, I was just trying to offer another way of looking at it. Sorry for any hard feelings.
-
hmm, thanks for the critique on my poem "Sea Legs" but I've read some of yours and I believe that you use too much punctuation. There are too many full stops (periods) in your poetry. I have been writing for 10 years, I won't change my style just because some little 15 year old comes along and says I don't use enough punctuation but thanks. Hope you put the points you got for that long critique to good use.
-
HI JoAnn...it seems we have a lot in common. I sepecially love yur Gandalf quote. God bless you!-Joanne
-
fare thee well gold membership!!! How I'll miss your colors when you're gone!!
-
omg my name is on your page yay thats cool lol later *autumn*
-
Sweeze your lips really hard. or pinch the flute with you thumb and first finger. I guess that's why you don't see too many professional wooden flute players. They should have a little thumby like on a clarinet!
-
so, a fellow flute player? yay!
although, i'm actually more of a clarinet player. i love the quotes on your page and the poems you've written are very well done. ; ].
-
hey could you describe for me how i am supposed to hold a simple six-hole wooden flute so that the flute won't wobble when i release my fingers from all the holes to achieve the second highest note the one octave flute can play?
-
-
I like your name, and your profile. But I LOVE phantom of the opera
-
This is cool profile. I love music
-
i really enjoyed reading your authors page and there were a lot of good quotes on it.
-
I used to have them on tuesdays at 7! But then at the beginning of this school year I started taking piano, and I live out in the boonies, so it was easier to put piano and flute on the same night. I have them on thursdays at 6. I could give you Mrs. Matias' phone number if you'd like. She's really nice and hilarious.
-
Oh, I don't know Mrs. Matias, but I do want to start piano lessons sometime in the next year. I have lessons on Tuesdays at 6:30...when do you have them?
-
Yea, she is the one I take lessons from as well! I take piano lessons from a Mrs. Matias. Do you know her? She's in Endicott. Wow that's really awesome. What days do you have lessons with Mrs. Stutzman?
-
I take it you play the flute...so do I!! I live in Endicott, which is near Binghamton. One of your quotes was by Mrs. Stutzman--if she's the one who lives in Vestal, then she's my private teacher! Wow we have a lot in common
-
Hey, I saw your name on that list thing on the right of the screen that's always there. I thought I'd check you out, I love your AP name!! You seem pretty cool too, just thought I'd let ya know!
<3 Violet

Hiya,

Take care!
