    I have left you for a very long time. you were my knight in shining armor. you held me once when i would have drowned. you were my burning harbor. you kept me safe even from myself. you were my lasting friend. i don't know what i would have done without you but now i've come to my end. you wouldn't like who i am now. you wouldn't like where i've been. you would think i've changed but i'm just the same as i've been. i wander now but thats ok cause not all who wander are lost. i've finally found a peace its finally gotten to me. i just want you to know from my very black soul you were always a friend to me.

    I have no problem with your contest as a whole, and you chose wonderful poets as winners. The only problem I have is that you didn't even read and comment on mine. Did you just miss mine, or was it so bad that you couldn't even leave a comment? I would like to know, because I followed your rules. I just didn't end with a bodily function. Is that what you wanted? Because if it was, I would not have entered anyway. I just wanted to know why you didn't read and comment on mine. Hugs, Patricia

    What an emotion-filled write...Lately, I've been reading poetry based on feeling alone, but this write has facts in it, which help one relate to and understand what you're talking about. You did a really nice job with this, and I hope things get better for you. Keep your head up
