midnight dreamer. on February 1, 2006WOW!!!Thank you so much for commenting on so many of my poems...I'm glad you had the contest...The poems I write either come from my true life, written for a contest, or the popped into my head and I just let the words escape through my fingers...Previously I have been eternaltears and TheBeautiful and I think the Moon-Girl is the best one yet...I really like the book Star-Girl and I love the moon and I came up with this name...I think it reflects my personality better if you know what I mean...Thanks again for commenting on my poetry!!!

armysoutherngal on January 25, 2006Hey thank you for your encouraging comments on my poem "Hate and Love how can it be both". My heart and soul went into that and to me, now, that was/is me saying good bye to my first and everlasting love. I gave him my heart and he tore it to pieces when I needed him the most, I came so close to commiting suicide because of him and one other element of my life, and then i realized two things, one: that no guy even your first love is not worth my life and two: that God didn't put me on this earth to fall in love then die!
What is worse... About this poem and my love story is that he was the boy next door and i feel in love, giving him my heart and in the middle of a severe family crisis he broke up with me on my birthday!
And a year later i still wasn't over him. he screwed up so much of my life that i know now that shouldn't have been wasted on him but i did and do and will forever love him, hes my first love and that something that you cant for get!
Again thank you so much for everything!

theDARK1 on November 27, 2003i read the comment that you made on ShadowedOne's page and want you to know that i don't see stripping as a bad thing as i know many would. i do not judge with the exception of those (wrong doers) guilty in crimes against my world of DARKness. i do hope and wish you well in the many things you plan to do in your life.

kalifornia on July 19, 2003Oh my, I know exactly what you mean about horror movies and maternal instincts. I used to love horror movies the gorier the better but when I was pregnant with my son and after he was born I seem to find that my tastes have mellowed out a whole lot.. I was still first in line for Dracula 2000 with my infant in tow.. grins. I still like some horror but mostly just psychological horror rather than cut 'em up horror...
Anyway, I just wanted to comment on that, cause I found it interesting that maternal instincts can change our preferences.

C.W. Bush on May 26, 2003You'd be surprised at how many men feel love, and are just afraid to admit to it because of society's expectations. I know it's a cliche to say that, but when most guys are told how to act, it's hard to act any other way.
Personally, I know a lot of guys who do believe in love, and I'm lucky enough to have a lot of them as friends- which made dealing what the issues discussed in the poem a lot easier. Thanks for your note!
