BehindTheSorrow on June 18, 2005I love that Johnny Cash version of Hurt, I didn't know NIN sang that. I want to hear their version. Johnny Cash's voice just has so much feeling, and it sounds like he's actually hurting when he sings it. Ah, he was an amazing guy.

Most of the time I have to really work at my poetry, but for some reason the last two just sort of was written through me. I didn't have to think or concentrate, just have a pen in my hand and let it move over the page.

I like Johnny Cash's version of that song "Hurt". Tremendous. U could hear the personal experience ring in each word of that song. I also like his cover of the Will Oldham song. -
