maru on November 5, 2004Hey there! Well I just thought to pass by and write you something. Well, you'll be glad to know that there are a few Christians that are not so small-minded (and, hum, not so christians either I guess). I find it funny that the stupid asshole of Bush has won only for religion because he doesn't support abortion and same-sex marriage. I'm a Christian myself (a Catholic to specify) but I do believe in the right of Freedom of Choice and that's what is all about in the end. I think that if I ever get to the situation, I'd rather prevent or either take responsability, but that's my personal opinion and I don't really care if the one next to me thinks differently, he has the right to do so. Besides, for example, in the case of a rape... why should a woman have a baby of the damn idiot that raped her??? I believe THAT is the bad thing. And same-sex marriage... well, it's up to them what they want to do with their love and sexual life!!!
BTW I also think it's stupid to talk about tolerance if one is so close-minded. As it is, for the matter of fact, to speak of Freedom and being intolerant (I'm by no means referring to President Bush here........) and bombing another country. Oh yes! Let Americans have Freedoms because they're the only ones that deserve it... come on! He IS a stupid hypocrate!

Nice to know someone agrees with me, so many people seem to not... well, I suppose that's the point of things like the Atheism group, eh? Sad part about Christians is that, for all their talk of tolerance and "God loves everyone," they can't accept any lifestyle other than what fits their small-minded ideas of what's normal and right.
