Lovely poem...kissing is God's rememdy to recall...nothing but the moment. As to the poem with the E's, where do I find it?
  • -Dawn- on January 8, 2005
It has been awhile since I have actually been by your page here. I love the 'kissing' theme indeed.

Now I will have to share my favorite 'kiss' poem with you, in honor of your page

There is some kiss we want with
our whole lives, the touch of

    spirit on the body. Seawater
begs the pearl to break its shell.

    And the lily, how passionately
it needs some wild darling! At

night, I open the window and ask
the moon to come and press its

    face against mine. Breathe into
    me. Close the language-door and

open the love window. The moon
won't use the door, only the window.

    ~Jelaluddin Rumi

I hope you are well my friend. And I hope you like my favorite kissing poem!

    ~~Dawn

Oh, What is it your eyes tell me...MMMM... Well now they say that you have a gentle soul..longing , and searching for something you have yet to find... They also tell me that you have the ability to also read into someone.. You are very giving and kind...and they (your eyes)... They are beautiful and long to laugh.... I hope you had a nice Christmas... Ours was exciting... But of course with two children bursting with joy...excitment is hardly the word... Let's just say it was an exhausting experience...that thankfully only comes but once a year...

Nice. Just popped up on the page when I was chatting. Hmm...I would never have guessed that you write how you do. But, then again, you do have dark eyes and slightly gnarled hands. No offense at all. I am usually a great judge where that is concerned. Lovely house, by the way. Gotta run, go do that goody good bs christmas clothes shopping crapola. Have a good one, man. -Raviyn
  • ImNoGoddess on December 23, 2004
Decent. There's always so much you can read in a face, and always so much you can fail to see. 'smirk'. -Raviyn

Hello...I love the background...that's the exact type of thing that I was looking for when searching for a background for This Ecstacy. I think when you see a picture of an author, it adds more mystique...put it up.
  • luckynsincere on December 19, 2004
I just dropped in to have a look at some of your work..and I must say you are extremely talented... You speak the language of....mmmm...what word am I searching for...ah..the language of love... And your quotes of kisses are great... "A man's kiss is his signature" now that is an understatement... I loved them... i hope to hear from you in the future...as I look forward to reading more of your enchanting poems....

Thanks, Red. Maybe I'll get it up there again. I'm short of sleep before work tonight, so I best crash. Thanks for the compliments and comments. I really appreciate it, eps. since my self-esteem has been torn to shreds since deciding to divorce. Later, alligator. Peace Through Love. ET

ET I saw you were online and had to drop by your bio page and I must say I really like this bio page! That picture came so crystal clear and I also like the blue and green color scheme and of course as with all your words I adore your words on here!

You also never fail to impress me. Nyx already said this , I feel it needs to be said again. You have a sharp wit , A great pen , And a wonderful way to put images and thoughts out there for us , As other writers , To see. You are impressive and should be very proud. I know I am , Having read the things I have.

Take care and happy holidays ,
    james

P.S. I'm sorry to hear about your divorce , I'm sure in time , Things will look up. Like my mother always said " In these times , When we are the most confused , Is when we find time to be the most human. "

Thank you for having what it takes to take time for somebody else in this busy world of ours. With more of that spirit to go around, we might actually change the world. I'm a cockeyed optimist (although I have never had a cock in my eye). LOL! Oops. I digress...all in the interest of making you laugh. Peace Through Love. ET

I love that you are a liberterian AND a Christian. That is cool. And I love this quote: and the Devil don't wear no squeaky boots... so obviously true, and yet he runs the world I see you are a fan of Albert Camus too. I was a big existentialist in my twenties- always thought they described the world almost to a science(objectively that is), but had the solution wrong...what books have you read of Albert Camus?
Did you ever see Schindlers List? There were hints of Camus in that film. Anyway, enjoyed seeing your page.

Sounds like a Higher Coincidence. I just returned from a Big Book meeting. Shasta...pray, read the Big Book (the first 164 pages), get a Sponsor (our egos get so big we don't want to be told what to do...but it is self-imposed humility to have a Sponsor...if you see someone who has what you want, that's the one), reach out and serve your fellows. Don't isolate and always, ALWAYS, be honest, while remembering that truth without compassion is cruelty. BTW...never get into a pissin' contest with a skunk. LOL! Thanks for the comment...made my day (and believe me...it's been a hard day). ET

you know, the other day, when you sent me a message, and i got the indication that you weren't horribly happy, i tried to find you a poem that would make you smile.
    but couldn't.
    and then gave up.
and figured, a hug...and a kiss on the cheeck would be better.

    *snuggles you...kisses ya cheek*

I wanted to stop by to see how you're doing, and wish you the best this year. If I already did that, then...well, just remember it when I forget to tell you NEXT year.

Thank you for your reads, comments, and ratings of my work. It means a lot. May the Lord bless you and your family! CookieZeal/Di

I know that there's a cliff on every smooth drive. And if it's never been attempted, it's full of eager anticipation on the winds and grinds.

I pray and hope that this year, God gives you a talking, instead of a spanking, a leverage instead of a cliff, and a place that will be marked as your own so that someone else can find the way .

    Blessings......meant and really meant! CookieZeal/Di

Stopping by to wish you, in prayerful intent, a good day. Another one! Yes!

Also to tell you that were it not for your ice breaking pontificating, exiliarating author's page, I would never consider that life has another PLANE in it..lol.
