    If you truly believe you will be a great fantasy novel writer then it will happen. It was all I ever wanted to do since as long as I can remember but I let life get in the way... always telling myself I would get back to it in the future... perhaps in my retirement. Do not make this same mistake. Don't let anyone tell you you can do something... especially yourself. Twenty-five years later I finally awoke to fully realize: life is for the taking. It's up for grabs... go and get it. Make it happen! Picking up my pen again was the best decision I ever made... finally I began something that was of my own doing... something that was entirely for me. I created my world and now I can do whatever I want. It's empowering. I can paint characters with what ever brush I choose... develop and portray ideas I've always felt strongly about. If you never give up; failure is not an option. It's the main theme I'm using (it was good enough for Tolkien). Believe and trust in yourself all above all else and you'll never be let down. Be confident and things will go your way (and soon others will believe in you as well). Leave your doubt at the door or better yet dump it on a fictitious character... it's therapeutic (and fun too).

    I think Anna is great because she chose me to be her Grandad here on AP...I dont have any grandchildren as yet although I do have 6 kids in total...{not counting myself of course}...so I am very proud and pleased that I have her in my extended family!...I consider it a privilege and an honour...and will always be interested in how her life progresses!...I have only one concern...I hope she lets her parents know what we are like on AP...and be very careful when online and remember not to give out any personal details to anyone!...love and best wishes...Grandad Dan xxxxx

    Hey there. I'm nicki. I was just reading your page and noticed your love of fantasy. What do you think of the Inheritance Trilogy? Not legendary stuff I know but I love it. (I would have IM'd you but you also said you wanted people to leave stuff in your guestbook!)

    Sorry I couldn't help myself to stop by. Neato page. ANyone who is a fan of the LOTR is a friend of mine you should also consider joining the other LOTR groups.
