NoWayJo : Me Again... on November 17, 2006Yeah, wouldn't you know it, but I didn't do anything "wrong" and it's all AP upgrades.
I think you're gold too, Dhruv and my problem is that the Rich Text Editor is no longer available for gold members. I guess it's all HTML from hereon, which is something I differ with in the very difference paid in silver-to-gold membership cost, but my question is this...
I went to do a little edit on my Writer's Page, discovered amidst the midst of HTML stuff where it was and changed it. I clicked to EDIT and now my whole post is BLAND and crap and not at all as the way I had it laid out.
Now, I have copies of an old Writer's Page here on AP...Is it possible I can make a copy/paste of that page, post it on my Writer's Page, just change some of the dividers and decoration stuff I have posted and it will take as it previously appeared? I'm afraid to try for fear I'll mess up the old Writer's Page post...
By the way, I noticed that it seems your able to exchange "front page" here now with these upgrades...But I don't know if they mean "front page" as Writer's Page or front page as the first poem on the poem list on the front page.
If you didn't know, I HATE THIS NEW AP!
Lemme know what you know on this when you can, Dhruv...I just know amongst a good many things as a result of these DOWNGRADES, I really don't like the way things are looking as to my pages, and some I haven't even clicked to yet...

NoWayJo on September 25, 2006awww, Dhruv, you already know how much I love graphics--Especially those motion ones! When to come to a page where there's a motion-image posted, there just feels to be an extra sense of life that lives on that page to me!
Someday we'll have to get together so you can teach me these HTML-tricks--(You'd think it was silly by the way I attach many graphics to the page now).
Also a warning, Dhruv, that if you keep posting stuff to this page as I had to my own, you may just be running out of Writer's Page space!!! Remind me to pass you a link to Page #2 of my own Writer's Page! LOL

I finally wrote a little 10-line poem that I had been hoping to enter into your most recent contest but I missed the closing deadline. Ah well. Anyway, it's under my own poet page here on Allpoetry so feel free to have a look and make a comment/critique. It probably isn't competition standard as it was only meant to be short, precise and to the point. I haven't edited it. It was written free verse. It's called "Labour" and is about work.
I have also added you to my list as a favourite poet of mine on Allpoetry.

Shauna D on August 2, 2006Hi Pole Star. Has your contest re poem of no longer than 10 lines finished yet? I was hoping to enter it. I have had an idea in my head for about a week or two now since I read about your contest but have not had the chance to write it down and develop it properly so therefore don't think I will have it submitted in time before your contest ends. Shame, though really. But as and when I have it written I will put it onto the site under my name and you can read it there. I do be so busy I barely get the chance to write anymore :-(. I hope you were happy with the amount and quality of entries you got for it (I saw, there was a lot of entries).
Ah well, better luck next for me I suppose. LOL
