  Thank you for the lovely comment on my poem. As for inspiration... well I hadn't written a new poem in a while so I read a poem by my friend Josiah (scion) and I was inspired. Interestingly enough, my poem is almost nothing like his except for the theme of pain! Thanks again!

  Have you ever heard of the great philosopher Frederich Nietzsche and his saying "That which will not kill you will only make you stronger?" Well my friend as it is written one person who believes wholeheartedly that they can outwit and outplay another who has more of an advantage is foolish.
  
  Your lyrical rap sheet is cute, innocent, and immature. Adjust it my friend and you will be able to spread words of wisdom to the masses. A constant refusal to add evidence, support your claims and also criticize ie Ad Hominem is wasteful.
  
  For the average schmuck out there has no idea that what you preach is a revolutionary ideal wherein fact action speaks louder than words. Are you willing to toe the line and put the words you use into action? If so that is good. But if not then you my friend are just bloviating and not being real to yourself.
  
  Patience my friend is virtous because a person needs time to gather their thoughts and counter-arguments. By you saying is that that then is a little too soon.

  Marijuana IS NOT destructive
  but Marijuana LAWS are
  they take mothers & fathers from families
  and even repossess your house & car
  they take a huge chunk of your cash
  when you're barely makin' it as it is
  theres even a MULTI-BILLION dollar industry
  centered on scrutinizing our whiz
  these laws DESTROY lives
  they break up families and friends
  almost 700,000 arrested in '04
  but I guarantee it never ends
  they'll just keep on KILLING
  and FINING and ARRESTING
  and discriminating and judging
  and probationaly drug testing
  Marijuana prohibition
  is ANTI-PEACE
  and wrong
  and they'll have to kill me
  before I release

  since you're leaving i thought you should know, "alter" means to change something, "altar" is the correct spelling as in altar boy or whatever. if you're gonna devote your life to something, you should at least know how to spell it.
