Hi' Thayla....thanx for your honest but harsh comment on Lerato's story. she does indeed need a bit of eidting skills and maybe how to write in clear and understandable language. i am currently busy editing some of her stuff and i promise you, she will be on fire next time you hear about her.

Thank you very much for your comment once more and keep it tight and proudly south african.

I am glad you like the song. You can find yourself some musicians and get it produced better. You may get famous, yet.

hello thayla.how's SA?my Philippines is not faring as well these days.echoes of revolutions, unseating of presidents etc. but hopeful still that maybe this time change will do good. you came to my mind for some reason,so forgive the rantings of a struggling idealist in a very corrupt world.hope you are okay.

    hello
  • Tygyr-Gypsy on July 4, 2005
After reading your author page that you are South African, I
just had to check out some more of your work. I just love
stories of Africa, although that's not what I've found here so
far but, as a former amnesiac, I can identify with much of your
poetry. I also liked the comment on your author page about
"finally waking up from a coma". "Young Thayla: Fear" brought
back an old familiar feeling, as did "Young Thayla: Alone?".
I very much enjoy your artistic expressions. Sincerely,
    ...Buster

PS - Have you ever heard of the movie "The Power of One"? Its
a wonderfully inspiring story set in Africa, and also there is
a lovely red-haired young lady, but her part is tragically sad.
  • Raist on July 3, 2005
"I am a white South African, with red hair and blue/green eyes. (Talk about minority)"

    Thanks for the chuckle.

But also thank you for your comments on my work.
  • CelticKisses on July 2, 2005

hey i think you definately can compete with more than most of the poets on this site. if there is any competition that is. you've shown me a lot from your poetry and it's a beautiful insight into your universe. you've shown a woman can matter, hehe much more than a man. thank you so much for sharing on behalf of everyone who visits your page. keep turning your life into words friend. take care -Jamie
  • James R on May 13, 2005
Thanks so much for your feed back on my poem. Its nice to know people respect my work.
  • poet dun kno it on May 12, 2005
I respect your comment, i dont need a lesson in life, ive had many..so i dont need to visit your country. I know im a VERY lucky person to be living in a wonderful country and everything. It just really ticks me off when i read about peoples poems and how they dont appreciate ANYTHING they are given in life. Maybe not just this website, people i run into on a daily basis think its "cool" to be suicidal just so they can get attention.I will not block anyone from my site and i usually dont reply to worthless people that leave me messages but i thought i should reply to you because you dont think ive learned anything from life.Ive learned many things from life so I dont NEED ANYONE to tell me that. Thanks!
  • On-Borrowed-Time on April 18, 2005
