I have read bits and pieces, yes. I have a bunch of Tolkien's books, and a bunch of books about Middle Earth in general. The whole idea is just mind blowing. The detail, imagination, and thought he put into it all is just mind boggling. I would never have the patience, nor would I be able to make it so believeable!

LOL.. Elf lover. My boyfriend says I look like an elf, even to the ears... if they just pointed a tiny bit more, and if I were a bit shorter, I could probably pass for one. I'm a secret fanfic slasher too, but I like the HP series. LOTR is way cool too though. I've posted slash fanfic under this name, but I have another, that's why I can say I do it in secret...

I'm not into the Boondocks that much, but the other three comics you listed rock. I have a little Get Fuzzy collection going; and yes, Satchel "the family mascot" Pooch is named after the Satchel in the strip. Now I'm waiting on grandma to let me have a cat so I can name it Bucky.
