Hello Susan, long time no see.
I've just discovered about your accident and now see you are healing.

  • MargaretG : Heal fast! on September 7, 2007
I heard that it has become more difficult to stay one step ahead of your students. I'm sorry that you were hurt - I hope that you are healing quickly and without complications. Take care, rest, and recover!

    Susan!
How are you? It has been awhile, far too long. How is everything? I just wanted to stop on by to say hello and that I haven't forgotten about you. Lots of hugs and love being sent your way.

Hey, I was just wondering about you but haven't been on AP in ages. Life's pretty good; I'm having a great summer but dreading the coming school year particularly because Sarah will be away at college. How've you beeN?
  • J Rhys Davies on July 24, 2007

Hey chick-a-dee! I hope all is well with you. Are you going to post anything new anytime soon?
  • SusanL on October 30, 2006
My life is basically nuts. I teach school four days a week, work 3 days a week and now that I am juggling jobs I have met someone interesting.
  • macandrew on October 26, 2006
Odd your last poem was "in your spare time" which apparently you no longer have. I can understand that, they doubled my work load and then lost half my staff.

    Hope all is well.

Hi, I'm online again. I have a new Yahoo, as I suspected, the old one died when we ceased to pay.
I hope to see you here from time to time, but now we are about 10 hours different (+7 from where I was before).
  • ArtFullyMe on August 22, 2006
If you should happen to make it this way again.... let me say thank you, for your wonderful voice. May all the things more important than here, prosper, and may you smile, the majority of the time. Live well.. and be.
  • Maatkara on July 24, 2006

This is sweet, Susan. I like the brightness here.
  • SusanL on April 3, 2006
I can play in paint - I am not an artist. I like color and I like symmetry - my little upside down dude sort of covers both of those!

I have not been in writing phase, too busy and too tired, my brain is sort of on pause these days.
  • Long Road Home on April 3, 2006
Hey you secret artist! Long time no nothing!

    Nice headstanders

    Happy day to you

    Keith -
Thank you ever so much for the song! and thanky you for the regards on my monoquadingle. I am not sure about you but I had a good giggle writing it.
I wil be by to read soon, you come recommended by more than one mutual aquaintance!
  • Keith on November 1, 2005
As the namer of the Monoquadingle, I thought you might like this. If you search for the Tweenies webpage, you can sing along to it, and do the actions:

    Dingle Dangle Scarecrow

When all the cows were sleeping
And the sun had gone to bed
    Up jumped the scarecrow
And this is what he said!
    I'm a dingle, dangle scarecrow
    With a flippy floppy hat
I can shake my hands like this
And shake my feet like that
When all the hens were roosting
And the moon behind the cloud
    Up jumped the scarecrow
    And shouted very loud
    I'm a dingle, dangle scarecrow
    With a flippy floppy hat
I can shake my hands like this
And shake my feet like that
When the dogs were in the kennels
And the doves were in the loft
    Up jumped the scarecrow
    And whispered very soft
    I'm a dingle, dangle scarecrow
    With a flippy floppy hat
I can shake my hands like this
And shake my feet like that
    I'm a dingle, dangle scarecrow
    With a flippy floppy hat
I can shake my hands like this
And shake my feet like that

I hope you kicked Topaz's butt Susan Imagine saying that to YOU about your art. Sheesh! [giggles]
  • SusanL on October 27, 2005
Be Jealous of Whims and people like that -
I just do silly cartoons on paint and post them for the heck of it.
    Sort of reflect my mood.
  • Topaz135 on October 27, 2005
    wahahahahahahahahha.
Yes a very nice background indeed.
I can't draw for toffee, so jealousy rears its ugly head, although with less astonished eyes than your birdie
    heh heh
  • SusanL on October 27, 2005
You are the only one who saw the tree that way (besides me long after I had posted it)
The bird is not pregnant, just fat and happy.
And I am well aware of my limitations in "still art"

PS I was in fact refering to the BG.
  • Topaz135 on October 27, 2005
The tree is awful [sigh] it looks more like an upside down woman with legs all awry! lol
The composition actually has some fabulous points to it.
Love the pregnant bird, although a touch more upper beak would not go amiss. The cat is cutesy and yet still achieves a sense of 'naughtiness'.
An achievement then, although 'still art' is not yet your forte lol

hopes she was talking of the piccy, not the irridescent background lol

  • fae on October 27, 2005
