    Sunchild,
Thanks so much for your comment and kind words on my poem "Reach". For some strange reason, it's not wanting me to applaud that comment for you! Although, I do want you to know I appreciate the time and you left me feeling good about my work.

Hope you've had a great weekend.

Hey! I wanted to thank you for your comment on "American Church." I noticed that you said that I generalize too much, and not to be arrogant or anything, but that is the way that I meant it. I agree that not all churches that I describe or criticize in this piece are like that. But I do think that the American Body, as a whole, is going down a very slippery slope. I thank God for churches like the one that you go to. The churches that pay attention to the needs of the body and the world are churches that we need more of. I do think that again, as a whole, that the American Body is in dire straits and that we need birth/rebirth from within in order to reach the point that God desires us to be.

Anyways, I must go, but I look forward to talking to you some more about this later.

Much love and peace in Christ,
    Aaron

    Dear Sunchild,
Ive met a few ppl like yourself, but usually in highschool and early college, it kinda pains me to see persons of your faith since every single on eive ever knownm has thrown it away to personal desire, enlightenment or personal skapegoat to walk away from faith... that Being said ive read your comments, and I do appreciate your inputs although id like to know if you really find your faith enduring. This poem was easy to write since it was simply writting what happened step by step, no creativity was required.

*Pains me, it is like hearing lost joy echoes over again, rememering beauty and love of those dearest to me, which as time allows ebbs into the eventual turn of there faith, this reminder, strangely whenever someone seems to be on FIRE para Jesus, simply reminds me of those lost in my own past. sorry for any misunderstanding, you have solid skill in poetry, I apoligize for allowing those giests of my past resurface in this dim pool.

    ~Yours truly

Thanks I'm glad that you like my poetry! I've read several of your poems and you are really really good. Although to be honest, I like your poems about God much better than your love poems. They're all so sad and depressing, about love lost or never received. They make me want to cry...or laugh. Hmm, I'll have to look into this Warriors for Christ group. Thanks for giving me such a warm welcome!

    Your sis in Christ,

Sweet. The first to leave a comment on you page. First of all, I would like to welcome you to allpoetry. It is an awesome site to share your writings, grow in your writing skills, and if you "hang" with the right crowds, grow in Jesus as well. There are many groups, such as Warriors for Christ, which I recently joined, and is awesome. Very, very awesome, I might add. Oh, and "The Blue Sword" is one my most favorite of books as well, and what the other one, "Hero and the Crown" or something like that, right? i want to thank you for reminding me what they were called, I have been trying to remember for years. Anyways, hope you enjoy the site, and I look foward to reading more of your writings.
