That was a lovely to thing to say, thank you. I liked what you wrote on your author page here. Very nice.
  • DeepDarkDesire on December 12, 2006
It's fantastic to hear that and thankyou so direly for your comments. I'll be looking forward to hearing from you again soon of course, yet I must implore your eyes to be set upon some poetry pieces you have missed. Recently alot has been going on and my style seems to be changing. I hope all is well and that you will be writing again soon
  • DeepDarkDesire on November 9, 2006
Evening Kevin, it's been a while since you commented on my work. I do appreciate your honesty and your time. But I fear I must justify my latest poem. My muse has taken a funny turn, I've posted a few poems online and if you take a look any time soon ( not a hint...honest I know that your busy!) then perhaps you could mention to me how it's all going wrong. Anyways, I trust all is well and your family is safe. Much care-Hol

It is good that you are doing well. It just doesn't look like things are going too well over there right now. At least that is what I see in the news. Just keep your gear close by. You never know when you might have to break out the thermo gear. Too bad you couldn't find the 4077th. It would have been cool if you could have found Hawkeye or even Radar. Congratulations on the wedding plans. It is good to have something joyful to look forward to. Take care my friend and I hope that you will be able to check in from time to time.

Right now Im in Korea its kinda amazing. I was looking for the MASH 4077 Unit but fount out that in 2006Feb it was moved to Pakistan. Life is amazing so far and its more than what my recruiters ever told me the military would be. Im going to marry my long time boyfriend of two years and 6 months on October 28, 2008 Hope all is well
  • Stoneface Gremlin on September 26, 2006
Thank you. It was something that I got in an e-mail and thought that it would be cool here.

Sorry to hear that you have not been able to sign in for such a long time. It is good to hear from you. I have been having a pretty rough time as of this week. It is getting better though. Writing a poem about the situation helped.
So, how is the Army now? Is it everything the recruiter said it would be? I am just curious because, during my extremely brief stint, I found that my recruiter lied big time. My recruiter said that having had a broken back before would not impact my service. Yeah right!
  • Stoneface Gremlin on September 10, 2006
Thank you as always my friend. It is definitely good to know that friends are there for you. It is better felt here than in Myspace.com. I have only heard from two of my supposed friends there. Of course, I don't have many friends there and it is becoming clearer that I have even fewer friends that I had originally thought. Sorry, I must be prone to rants these days. Again, thank you my friend.
  • DeepDarkDesire on September 10, 2006
I'm sorry to hear about that Kevin. I cannot say much to this, other than: You don't deserve to go through such pain. Thankyou for your comment. I'm here for you, to try to make you smile.

    Hello again my friend,
Thank you for all the comments that you have given my poems. It is truly good to know that I have such a friend on here. As a friend, I will never think it a hassle to help you with a poem or problem. That is just what friends are for in my opinion.
Knowing that I am able to make you smile, especially after what has been happening to you and your family, is thanks enough.
  • DeepDarkDesire on August 19, 2006
Hey Kevin, I really need your advice. I think I've lost my edge with poetry. I'm lost, honesty friend, I'm lost. Don't know who I am or what I stand for anymore. But I wrote this, I have no idea what's wrong with it, but something is. Could you please take a look, ofc, in your time.
You’re ejecting all you stand for
    Full of ostracism
    And distortion
Civil rights, to you a bore
    Emotionally advanced
    In contortion,
    You misunderstand and ignore
    The repeated
    Mistreated caution
    Of an uprising voiceless war
    But to you,
    I’m just another abortion.

Its all gone rancid, but I know you(deffinately) are extremely talented. Thankyou for your time.

Ahah, you misunderstood. I know what Russian Roulette is and that is a very good point, I do agree. I was just seeing vodka and Russian put together as a cliche'. As I was saying in the comment box yesterday, I haven't been on for personal reasons. Just check out my latest contest poem for info on that. Nice to hear from you again.

I think that I am up-to-date on your work. Some powerful writes that you have created. Sorry that I didn't catch them all as they were created. I have been busy at work and was too tired to read when I got home. I will try to be more diligent in the future. I hate when I get behind and friends that like to hear my comments don't get to hear them.
  • DeepDarkDesire on June 27, 2006
Heyhey, its been a while since I last heard from you...I've posted many poems since you last commented, if you have any spare time soon, I'd appreciate your comments-they mean the world to me

    MY dearest friend,

Although I have not been around I've read your poetry when I could. And when I did I was inspired like I always am. You manage to capture works withouth complication. Its amazing to me you see, because lately so very few words will come to me. But soon enough you will see...You're the very poet I strive to be. Congratulations to you and your family your wife is lucky and your son is keen. Keen enough to understand, your the best dad anyones ever had. I hope to hear more from you soon, just dont think I've forgotten about you.

You do not sound crazy in writing to me. I understood just what you were saying. I do believe that the spirit is reincarnated after death. The only reason that there are others that don't believe is because they haven't been reincarnated yet. I think that only the strong souls are able to be reincarnated. However, I believe that there are new souls being created. This would account for the people that are spiritually immature acting. That is because that they are spiritually immature.
I am sorry about your "need", as you put it, for escape from the outer reality of life. I do not judge anyone for any trait that they may or may not have. I just know what works for me. I choose to not escape reality because that is where my greatest inspiration comes from. I am one of the observers of life and the world around me. I do not know why I am to observe what is happening. Maybe I will need the information in the next life. Who really knows? I just know that things didn't really click for me in this life until I realised that whatever I did in the past life set me up for this one. (And you thought that you sounded crazy).
  • DeepDarkDesire on April 21, 2006
Actually no, the poem: A saga of antiquity, is actually about my head. I have this constant need for an outer reality, for instance another state of mind. EG getting very drunk is one way to achieve this. It's almost an addiction, but what this poem is trying to explain is, when I'm in my little world, I'm trapped-which is how I like it-isolated from the world insipid gifts are the moods/thoughts/dreams that provoke any sort of emotion. The thing about an old mind, well, I believe in reincarnation ( in a sense) where your mind, moves from body to body after death. So basically I'm saying I have an old mind, but a young body and soul.
God damn it I sound crazy in writing >_<
  • DeepDarkDesire on April 19, 2006
Well my dear friend, it depends what you would labell Nazism. The dish water, dictionary definition of Nazi views, or the common useage that people brand everyday?
  • BareBeast on April 14, 2006
This Is What Love Feels Like....(one-sided)

I've improved on my poem and was wondering if you would
re-read it and tell me what you think?
  • Nikki Bikki on April 13, 2006
hey i just got your comment thanks it means alot that people understand what i am thinking i will try and read some of yours
  • Shadow Phoenix on March 28, 2006
i like alot of your poems, i like how you express yourself into them and how they are about how you feel, good work
  • mia.bell on March 5, 2006
I would like you to elaborate on your quote "these frigging farmer hicks who wouldn't know what professionalism was, even if it hit them perticularly hard in the face ...with a brick...thrown by a catapult...from 20 yards..." Because in all realitry I believe I know exactly what professionalism and yet I guess you can call me a farmer Hick especially for the fact that my family owns 300 acres of land and we own pigs, cows, horses, cats and etc... I would appreciate your reply
  • DeepDarkDesire on March 3, 2006
Oh yes the English schools are top notch, but like everything, there's a few crappy ones. I've been to 15 different schools and colleges in my life time, each of them great, except DeAston. That's just these frigging farmer hicks who wouldn't know what professionalism was, even if it hit them perticularly hard in the face...with a brick...thrown by a catapult...from 20 yards...^^ All the decent schools and schooling systems are in northern England, and Scotland. So basically the southerners are like the yankies to us northerners (in other words)Just a question, you ever heard the song Boom, by system of a down?
  • Georgette on February 13, 2006
"Although after recent events with the boomerang, I should label this "Favorite ways to kill either time or myself. Don't ask."
You just made me laugh so hard.
I think you're going on my favourites!
  • DeepDarkDesire on February 12, 2006
Thankyou very much, and as you have taken the time to read my digression of a poem, I shall mention this:
Your poem will not go unnoticed, you SHALL walk away from with contest with a trophy-I know how shit it is to be unappreciated. I'm adding you to my favourites, I want to make sure I'm updated with your phenominal poetry
  • Stoneface Gremlin on January 28, 2006
Thank you so very much Jai h2. You have been so very supportive of my efforts here on AP and I want you to know that I appreciate every comment you have made. I hope that I do continue to live up to the title you have given me. While I just write either what I have experienced or poems about something I can imagine happening to me, I never really considered myself an artist. Thank you for thinking of me that way.
  • mia.bell on January 28, 2006
You are a true artist in a way so few will ever resemble. You write what you think and you do it with such grace and beauty with your words and raging compassion.

God Bless you and your Family
