Well, I glanced upward and found that you'd made over 1000 critiques and only have 7 poems. Honestly, I think that is fabulous! There are so many people from this site that take joy in just taking comments for themselves and then not commenting back. It made my day to see that you put so much effort into reading and from the comment you gave me I see that you are inclined to not just be half-way on the job. Thankyou so much... oh yes and the other thing was that I noticed out of your 7 poems, 3 of them have placed in a contest. You must be one fantastic poet. Keep sharing

Francesca Barrow on March 7, 2004Thanks for your comment on my poem! Like you, I try to let all my emotion out whenever I feel I can. As with the poem 'All', the point was to ramble on a bit, just like the thoughts that sometimes run through our heads, which is why it was so long! However, I suppose everyone's perception is different and I'm glad you felt it was long at least!.

Sara Bellem on January 26, 2004Sara here aka DyingRose & first off, I just wanted to Thank You for taking the time to come by read, and comment on my poem "Almost There" it really means a lot to me, as well as your concerns. When I read it, I did not think of it as a personal attack or that you even intended to make it that way, even though after your comment to my poem things turned controversal... I just want you to know that a lot of ppl don't have the support of family like others do, or perhaps they become so lost in what happens in their life that they turn to self-destructive behavior such a self-cutting. I, myself, am NOT a self-cutter but I do write about it as well as suicide & death. Writing Suicidal Poems may seem like a horrible thing to do, but this helps me to release my pain.. You see, My father died just one week before my sophomore year from lung cancer, and then 3 months later, my best friend, and then 6 months after my best friend 's death & 9 months after my father's, my sister's dies as well... So Things have been tough & the only thing that helps me is my friends & poetry, I have family problems as well. What makes ppl sp upset is that sometimes people jump tto conclusions & tend to be too judgemental towards ppl's reactions to how they cop, so Please don't be so judging, I understand that you have your own point of view, & your own opinion, thats great, but make sure that you know why that person is doing it before judging or making calls of why they do what they do. I just wanted to drop off a note here, and tell you "Thank you" for caring so much about me, that you'd place such a comment on, "End me." Your the only one, so far, I suppose I scared everyone off with my ranting of 'pain' and 'suicide' on my part. But once again, thank you. Brought a smile to my face, and took off a a pound or two of pressure.
