I had a feeling you would like AP aswell. I found your choice of username interesting, as I've had a RPG character named Captain Pike - oh, told you about that already. Thank you for your thanks! You're welcome. Jim
-
Hey Starhiker I just wanted to say hi... I had a feeling I knew I would like the AP community and you gave me the reassurance that I would when you greeted me my first day so I guess my point is that I wanted to say thanks...
-
...i know i know.. me again?? umm im just wondering, mattkara, is the only mod on right now, and i dont like her at all. so i figured id ask you. is it normal to have an error message when you sign out? cause the last few times i have had one. it says how long ive been on, and some other stuff.
being a moderator must be hard work, having to deal with people all the time... alright, well thats all i have to say tonight. ill talk to ya later.
-
Hi, Udit! I have been busy lately, and hardly have time to write poetry. I have enough with my moderator duties at the moment, but I promise that as soon as things settle down, I will write more poetry. Thanks for dropping by! Jim

oké, I'm going to attempt to describe what a few on this site have dubbed kryspinisms.
anything with an odd twist, or brutal blunt message with slapping imagery you just can't ignore. also the same goes for humour and oddities. very distinct and probably tough to replicate stylistically by method
I tried to find a comment by stingerbee on the poem she called "a typical kryspinism" but havent found it yet eheh. so here are a few examples of kryspinisms:

Hi Jim:
Got another one done! Your form seems to work well for eulogies: tight and powerful if you can fit the references in to the syllable count!

Hi, Rose! Thanks for linking me to your poem, it was great! I really enjoyed it! About my earlier poems, would you really find a copy of them for me? I know of this thing Poetry.com does to make it "legal", I have heard it from a friend... Thanks for the commenr, I really appreciate it! Jim
-
Very nice page. I would find a copy, maybe go thru the boy scouts or maybe a collector of such things.
Anyway, heres the link to my poem I told you of.
allpoetry.com/poem/560152
I hope you enjoy it.
Also on poetry.com, what they do to make it legal, is to take the book they are going to publish for sale and add your "so called winning poem" to the first page. I agree it's a rip off all the way and there are poems here at AP about it.
