Hello, friend...

How have you been? I know I haven't been around in a couple of weeks (hectic week, with semester exams and then the Christmas play and all this and that!), but I was hoping you didn't drop off of the face of the earth! I'm happy to hear from you once again! Hope that you are feeling well, and also that you have many new works to share with us. Me, I find that I've been on a downslope in writing--ever since June, since I lost my fiance, I haven't been able to write with nearly as much quality or as high a frequency as I could before. Ah, well...perhaps the holidays will spur me on the course. Anyway... I'm glad to see you! I'm rushing, so I'll have to come back, but in the meanwhile, take care!

I wrote a poem - inspired by you - I think I will post it but would like your permission

Sun hangs ablaze in his radiant glory
He exhales - Breathing life into the earth
Sweet Sun's love sustains existence
His rays dazzle, warming wind and skin

Moon ascends kissing sky's brow
Catching a glimpse of Sun's set
She shimmers away devising oceans sway
Luminescent she ignites the night

Aurora glistens in brilliant hues
Shifting and swinging on the moon
She awaits in longing for the day
Bright Sun will give his son away

Sun's Son a gleam a glittery sight
He sparkles in the day and twinkles in the night
He inspires gentle Aurora with his soft energy
And sings to her a poetic melody

Aurora she dangles on Son's lip to tongue
Craving a lick of his wit - Eye to Eye -
Enticingly she reveals her vivid colors
Streaking and dancing along the horizon

He lays her head on Water Sheets
Adorning her with a Shooting Star
He sooths her with his Rhythm of Touches
They dance together Naked Souls

I've been a musician for many years (Suffice it to say if I'd aged in "doggie years"-I'd be DEAD!) I do alot of different things. I started off playing ukulele, then guitar, then bass guitar, then piano and synthesizer(s). I have done some arranging of my own songs, as well as vocal arrangements for some friends of mine. I also have sung in and (amaturely) directed choirs. I also like to creatively express myself in art...I work at our local Middle School and am learning lotsa cool things in art classes! What are some of your preferred styles of music or artists?
