  • SomnusLupus on May 7, 2005
    i know.
  • Cyan314 on May 7, 2005
You aren't writing. You evil, evil little man.

  • SomnusLupus on April 13, 2005
i'll leave a more detailed comment. it was a fantastic poem, just was slightly interrupted in syntax.
  • sprezzatura on April 13, 2005
i think shel silverstein's poems are more than they appear, there's a sort of melancholy quality to them even when they're rhyming and crazy and make you laugh...
anyway, thank you for the silver, and what did i execute clumsily? how could it be improved?
    thanks--
    charlotte
  • LaPetiteSinger on April 11, 2005
wow you never cease to amaze me..I was all smitten and sentimental at you and then you end with "want a pear?" I love you, you nutso.

[And yeah, sure...but a peach would be better]
  • SomnusLupus on April 11, 2005
haha, it's not nepotism in any form. there were simply very few entries worth crap in that contest, so you were bound to get something. and being that yours was the most developed structurally and auditorially out of the three, i gave it (not you) the gold.

you won it fair and square. so there. want a pear?
  • LaPetiteSinger on April 11, 2005
Thanks for the gold, babe...I think I need to stop entering your contests
  • asymmetry on April 10, 2005
woman-woman is hot. my sister dates only women. Isn't she a weirdo. j/k. I respect what ever people want to be. hell, if I was a woman I'd date only women.
  • asymmetry on April 10, 2005
Hi! Thanks for your reply to my comment. Love is mutual. I don't think you understood the conversation. I love the painting on your author's page.
  • Cyan314 on April 7, 2005
    ENTER MY CONTEST... PLEEEEAAAASSSSSSE...

The new deadline is Saturday, but I'll alter it if I have to. Oh, and did you get my email regarding TFF?

    LOve, Shannon
  • Elrenia on April 7, 2005
#I must admit, you have a way with words. You weave a tapestry. It reminds me of an air guitar. Strumming along with the music. And your eloquence is unparalleled, even among those here. I am truly amazed.#
  • Samplette on March 27, 2005
    HAPPY EASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    S♠m
    Bless you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Cyan314 on March 20, 2005

    Merci, Azza
  • Rein-des-pres on March 17, 2005
thats one of the poems we read right????

  • Cyan314 on March 13, 2005
Hey, when you get the chance, could you do me the favor of thoroughly critiquing my poem "just" (the one I entered into your contest)? I think I might enter it into a contest run by the local Arts Council, and want to know if it can be improved in any way. If you do, I'd need it to happen by Friday, when the stuff is due... Thanks!!!

    Shannon
  • Cyan314 on March 13, 2005
Good to see a change in your page, though with all due respect, I liked the old picture and quote better. Simply because it's CTY and Love, two synonymous things.

as I was falling asleep last night I thought of the best Passionfruit toast and forgot about the thought until now. But, like a faceless face in dream, I can only think of the thought as a thought and not remember what it was...!
  • Cyan314 on March 9, 2005
Much upsilamba over the regeneration of a great name.

    Upsilamba=======a great word.
  • dregs on March 8, 2005
son of the moon sends his reguards, hopefully this site will relinquish it's expurgation polocies.
he told me you might be just who i'm looking for to critique my work,
if not, i hope you @ least read a bit, as i will read yours.
  • almostthesea on March 7, 2005
Are you fickle as I am with such names?

(= (I think I liked pyramid song better, but SomnusLupus is very fitting.)
  • Inscrutable on March 7, 2005
Man, I was just getting used to remembering who the hell "Pyramid Song" was.
  • jaunty pill on March 6, 2005

Good to see you back to your original name. I like it very much.

  • the atlantic on March 2, 2005
thanks for putting me on your favorites...i've been reading you a lot lately. damn good shit you've got here.

perhaps something that erupts as my cube-visual and then at some parts, contracts into a sort of shade or mist. i don't know, but it's fun to think about it. hell maybe it would just morph into thom yorke. that sexy man. i like imagining music as things or people out of curiosity, and radiohead are the most strange and intriguing musicians i've ever listened to, so that provides some interesting visuals.
  • SomnusLupus on February 24, 2005
hey, there are demos and crap i don't have. i can't afford them either.

i've never thought of the album as an object, but i'm thinking something much more subtle than the cube. some sort of oil-slick shade.

    shade meaning ghost.
  • almostthesea on February 24, 2005
Right on. I own ALMOST all of them except for most of those extremely rare demos and whatnot that I can never afford anyway. Amnesiac must be my favorite as well, it's probably the most cerebral and experimental of their cerebral and experimental albums, ya know. There's so many just, bizarre levels to it, it's a gorgeous work of art, it is.

Amnesiac is also the favorite of the guy who let me borrow and burn all of his radiohead CD's in the first place. I see the album as this four/three-dimensional whacked-out cube with potruding wires and skin and human parts growing in some places... imagine if the music could be transfigured into a physical thing, or person, or painted onto a canvas. Wouldn't that be interesting? =]
  • SomnusLupus on February 24, 2005
pyramid song is my favorite radiohead song. i love the way the beat progresses in sets of 5 regardless of the chords. gives it it's haunting, surreal aspect (and the words are gorgeous).
  • SomnusLupus on February 24, 2005
    i'm from long island.

and tough question. i own all of them (studio and live), so you could say i'm a bit of an addict. i still would have to say that my favorite album is overwhelmingly amnesiac.
  • almostthesea on February 24, 2005
Hey, what part of New York are you from, if I may ask?

And god, I remember first listening to "Pyramid Song" before falling asleep and it was beautifully haunting. Which Radiohead album's your favorite?
  • SomnusLupus on February 24, 2005
    evening.
  • almostthesea on February 24, 2005
Ah yes, good afternoon, Adam. =]
  • Rein-des-pres on February 19, 2005
    PYRAMID SONG WTF???????
    okay then
  • Cyan314 on February 16, 2005
Next time I sign up for a new email account or something, I'm putting Azza in the title. So snappy.
  • SomnusLupus on February 14, 2005
azza - i don't like it. i'm switching back in the 20 days once i can.
  • SomnusLupus on February 14, 2005
    yes radiohead.
  • almostthesea on February 13, 2005
    Radiohead?
  • Cyan314 on February 13, 2005
    Why the new name?
  • Irishfreckles87 on February 13, 2005

  • SomnusLupus on February 9, 2005
i love the song too. it was actually in garden state. great movie. did you see it?

and we changed it, because we liked this better, though the other was kickass. and because wilco is my god.
  • Cyan314 on February 9, 2005
Dude, why did you change your band name???

It's cool either way, but suprising, because the last one was really kickass...

And I love the new motto, by the way. Good song.
