  • Gulfbreeze : I'm supposed to write something about myself here on September 17
The sadness written in these few paragraphs is heartwrenchingly touching. I hope with all the I have in me that you know inside that you matter more than than others short commings do. You are a beautiful shining star and their loss is exactly that...
  • Topnotchsy on August 17
Hey, I realized I have not read anything new from you in a long time. I hope everything is going well, and I look forward to reading you in the future.
  • I see that there are a lot of other commenters on your page, but I will reiterate: your page is beautiful.
  • August Starlight on March 22
    Your page is interesting.
    I like it.
  • graybeard : amazed on February 17
I'm amazed that in such a short span of years you have garnered such deep insight into the human condition. I plead, Guilty as charged, with a tear in my eye. I'll try to do better. I also find it hard to believe that you are invisible at any time. Keep up the good work
  • Topnotchsy on February 4
I thought I had commented on your page, but it looks like I haven't. Your page is one of the most thought-provoking pages I have come across. Besides for the thought, it is also well written, and a pleasure to read. Keep up the writing!!
  • Faerie.Princess on January 29

Thanks for the comments. i thought diamonds were nicer, but i don't really like either, so i had to guess on what girls like.
  • Candy Morphine on January 18
oh my gosh. i read your authors page and the blurb of writing was just, wow. everything about it was so beautiful and meaningful. i had tears in my eyes because of how honest and raw it was. did you write it?
  • Gypsy Via Orleans : G.Mama on January 8
i think if all females were honest with themselves they'd admit to being this girl.eventhe so called pretty popular girls.we grow up, grow into who we are and grow out of giving a rat's butt what the world thinks of us.but we need each other.thank you comments on my poem.i look forward to reading more of yours.
  • stasis on January 2

Cheer up, invisibility does offer up many advantages..... Your words almost bought a tear to my eye but remember, if people ignore u it is only there loss
  • new born on November 7, 2008
This made me cry. I am that girl. The one who always feels out of place, the one people whisper 'she's anorexic' because I'm too damn skinny. Sorry I don't mean to whine, your page just really hit home for me.
  • Sketchward on October 23, 2008

  • Sketchward on October 6, 2008
got to On a Tire Swing in the Late Afternoon, haven't been around in a while. Sorry I only commented on one, I've got a head cold and can't really think straight. The noise between stars is one of the nicest phrases I've heard in a while, and kind of filled a phonic gap I've had since mid-summer when I used to look at the sky from a bridge (the same one in that poem of mine you commented on, I think). And the one about God, and love, was brilliant.
  • Sketchward on October 1, 2008
got up to Brother Of War today, your work continues to amaze me.
  • Sketchward : Thank you on September 30, 2008
your bio made me smile. I knew a lot of girls (and guys, of course) who had things like that happen to them. Who had stories like that. I dunno, I really love those sorts of stories, the stories by people who "don't matter" to society, and whose stories and dreams get trampled by a society more concerned with the mass than with the individual. I think those stories need to get told, especially in times like this. I think a line by a local band from Winnipeg, Propagandhi, sums it up...

    Her hands touch
Her childhood home in photos that she took
    It's one more
Omission from a high school history book

anyways, I will read all your poems, all 34 of them, since you took the time to read mine. I can't right now, but I'll get around to it soon I promise.

thanks for the comments, replies and applause, and for the bio.
  • imoutyo on September 21, 2008
prolly you know this, but your profile is brilliant. we all could use a little more empathy, from other people and for ourselves. and no one has said that better than you have
  • can-i-make-a-comment on August 24, 2008
your page... i think about that stuff all the time. often times i become overwhelmed by it. today i was in the grocery store and i noticed a girl with a skirt on that i thought was adorable. and you know what? i didn't say anything. on my way home i was like, "why didn't i just say she had a cool skirt? it would have made her day." and i think these things all the time but i am always to shy to ever actually say anything. i am ashamed of it. but yeah.. i know exactly what you're saying.
  • She Stole My Voice on August 23, 2008
"Next time you see me. Or whoever that girl is. Let her know that you know she exists."

    I love that.
  • Tinkerbell-Or-Me on August 21, 2008
thank you for commenting on my poemm=) it wouldn't let me reply for some reason.
there are some scratchy parts, i need to fix.
but for some reason when i write something, i HATE revising it.
so it might not happen. but we'll see

the writing on your page is amazing.

I have worked long and hard to sharpen my skills as an artist of both poetry and the common story. Your comment on this poem is well appreciated. It is definitely good to receive comments from observers upon one of my most overlooked poems. I thank you.

Now, on to rap. Welcome to allpoetry, home of some of the greatest undiscovered poets and rappers and various hip hop artists on the ENTIRE internet. I know, I checked.

In any event, I thank you for the comment.
