    Simplicity is the most outstanding characteristic of Sumi-e. An economy of brush strokes are used to communicate the essence of the subject.

    Hey if you could teach me how to do a Senryu and Tanka or Haiku, I would love it. But I can't figure any of them out. So I never write them. But I want to learn. (so far no classes on here are offering them at present. If you could teach, i would take your class! Marianne
