Hi I just wanted to say that I read your modern Haiku assignment. That was an awsonme brilliant write in my humble, inexperienced opinion. Genius at work!

Jeffrey Archer lists as one of my favorite authors. A Quiver Full of Arrows is one of my favorite short story novels, and the one that actually got me writing short stories....along with A Twist In the Tale.
Edited on Jun 24, 12:08 because 'got the titles mixed up '.

Came to have a look after finding you in Recommended Reads.
I have enjoyed reading your nature poems especially and your haiku. Keep up the good work.

I appreciate the elegant comments you make - that alone is worth the contest, and the requirement you have of reading others and voting is a nice touch - interactive contests are very fulfilling

    Welcome to All Poetry, ephemeral!
You will find so much to do here; poetry of all genres, fun contests, a Chatterbox (and IM) to talk with your friends. AP is an interactive site; we ask that you comment on/critique 4 poems for each one that you post (don't worry, it's not as difficult as it sounds!).
You'll notice a yellow shield by your name; this indicates that you are a Preferred Member. When your free trial membership expires, you can still post your own and comment upon other's poems, you'll just lose the ability to upload your own images (and a few other benefits - you can see them in the 'Store' tab...). But you can still purchase a Preferred or Uber membership if the benefits appeal to you - doing so will help support the site, but it is not mandatory.
Points are used to promote your poetry and run your own fun contests. You earn them by commenting on other people's poems (not to mention that they in turn read and critique yours) or you can buy them - again, check out the 'Store' tab.
You can promote your work, in the Featured Box or in Shameless Promotion (directly below the Chatterbox). Please Do Not Promote In The Chatterbox. People have been fined points for doing so, and nobody wants to see that happen.
If you need any help, Moderator's names are highlighted in blue and Greeters in green. There is a 'Help' tab or feel free to IM any one of us.
    Enjoy your All Poetry experience!
