Hey my long lost poet friend! I hope all is well in your world! I hope to see more poems soon! I still hold you close to my heart!
Ur Friend,
Sarah

-
I'm glad to see one so young who is so in tune with the problems of the world, especially what is happening in Africa. We see it on the news occasionally, but it isn't getting the coverage it deserves. Bravo for you!
I so appreciate your stopping by my page. I gave you credit for the names from the quotes. I do appreciate it.
I thought I'd stop by and read some of your work. It's always nice to find out about other writers. Hugs, Patricia
-
Forget you? Ha! Not even possible, I assure you.
Where haven't I been is probably a better question, and a more encouraging answer. It could have been much much worse than it was.
My book idea... indeed! It's still dancing merrily around in my head, and most nights I write down at least a few new thoughts down for future harvesting.
I think of your "Theory" often. You're most welcome. Woohoo-ing is one of my personal favorite activities.
-
And Hey, look, you still have my "Theory" posted on your page! WooooHoooo! Thanks! lol
-
Well, I had begun to think you'd forgotten about little ol' me!! Where have you been, friend? Hope life is treating you well, and you were correct in your guess that I am flourishing daily.
Truly, Sim, great to hear from you again. How is your book idea coming along?
peace

You're very welcome! Spell checkers are my friends.
-
Thanks for the comment, and the spelling correction. I'm really not great at spelling and I forget to hit the 'check spelling' box. so yeah. thanks!
-
Thanks OutsideTheMirror! I'm not sure if you could call this "soon"...but I'm back.
-
Welcome back Symbeline!
I've missed you!
-
I hope you come back soon!

Hang in there, Jesus Need. I'm still collecting clippings on Darfur. What's the latest from you?
Hispanic immigrants here are very nervous regarding anti-immigrant sentiment voiced in media and in legislature. Please pray for these my people. I'm a US citizen; my wife a legally documented (German) alien. Also, I'm doing an article on the H.D. policy vis a vis immigrants.
-
Good morning, Simbelyne:
You wrote: "Help save the people of Darfur," etc. A few weeks ago, I promised to help you by calling the President, saving some money from the proceeds of aluminum recycling, and more if I could. Today I finally called the White House comment line, and expressed the need for the U.S. to act quickly in spite of our having suffered the blows of Kat-Rita. To see a copy of my statement, go to this web page: www.43things.com/people/progress/cafegroundzero/812981
I'll continue to save the proceeds from the tabs which I collect, and I'll look for other ways in which I and others can help in a concerted effort to relieve and encourage the people of Darfur. cafegroundzero.blogspot.com/

Just stopped in to visit. You and I have a favorite poet in common, Watuwant. His work, "Theory of a Unified Mind" is amazing, as are many of his others. I will read some of yours some time this week. Until then, be well, and May the force be with you! hehehe I am so excited!

Eh, sorry its taken me so long to get back to ya...I've been dreadfully busy lately.
I'm almost positive that's why I liked the last two lines so much. The last two lines of my poem were also my favorites. I like the way the non-rhyme-i-ness of the last two lines in that form really hit you since everything else has been so structured. Pretty neat. Anyway....thanks for taking the time to stop by. God bless and take care, Sim.
-
Hey, thanks for your comment on Untimely. I'm not a BIG fan of rhyming, either, which added to the difficulty of this one for me. lol I edited the poem to your suggestion. I'm not sure which way I prefer, but it doesn't much matter. LOL Glad you like the last two lines. Perhaps we liked those best because they don't rhyme? HAHA Hmm...
-
Tagore! *sighs* I love almost everything by him I've read thus far. It's comforting to know someone else out there appreciates his work as well.
All my stuff? *raises eyebrows* That could take awhile...
God bless and be well, Sim. Thanks for stopping by!
-
its great to come across another person inspired by rabindranath tagore, i was starting to think i was the only one on this whole site. awesome choice, now im gonna have to read all your stuff
-
Ah, but 'tis one you greatly deserve!
-
I was meandering hear thru your home page and happened to notice you mention my humble work, 'The Theory of a Unified Mind', and had to tell you that, Truly, 'tis an honor!!

-
Thank you. I rather like it myself.
Yours is rather lovely, too. I've always like the name Christina.
-
I love your s/n. I thought I was hallucinating because I can't find any pictures of the flower. But great choice for a s/n.

hello please tell me or get ahold of me when you have another contest i enjoy writing dark so just IM me when you decide to run another one thank you
-
Ah...it's a small word indeed. I only meant that it was highly unusual/unlikely to just happen to randomly "meet" someone who was in a particular position to know someone "famous" or what have you
-
No, not really, I'm a born and raised Hollywood brat.
And as an actor and a poet, we have those two things in common
so, in the industry, it's a pretty small world.
-
Really? Now that's impressive. Or at least highly unusual/unlikely.
-
I will tell you this,
and you can believe it
or not, I know viggo.
-
Aaaaah...I see. Wouldn't want to be redunant, would we?
-
No, I'm not
but that's because I like you,
and it would be redundant now.
-
Don't worry...I was.
You're never going to tell me, are you?
-
Oh, I see, you're one of those liberal Christians made
tolerable over the years by a love for fantasy and science fiction. You must have been a handful at Sunday school
-
Well hello! I'm very pleased you stopped by (and found my rather ridiculous quotes amusing )
Lord of the Rings is amazing, isn't it? Lovely name by the way. I look forward to seeing you around. It's always a pleasure to meet another LotR fan, particularly as there are so few in my area of the country. God bless and be well, Sim.
-
Hi, I found your page from that poem 'Religion- the Original Sin', and, as you should be able to tell, I am a LotR freak too, and I was drawn by your name.
Just felt like visiting, off to rad a poem.
(P.S. Good quotes to *laugh*)
