  wanted to say 'hi.' i will finish completing your grand prize soon from a contest you won many moons ago. just so busy with things and had a couple of deaths to try to deal with. itz always been the hardest thing to do for me ever since my brother was killed by a drunk driver in '92. i have another contest that needs judging too. i will have your prize finished and the other contest judged no later than mid-september. hope you are doing well in your life. miss you!

  you know i have seen your latest poem and love it. i don't have alot of time right now, but had to come on here to clear the contest up for one of the ppl that has me on their list. as for commenting on all your poems, guess i will have to do them all again. now this is my intention: once i read and comment with applause, i will provide that link inside the contest you won. you will have 100 poems with live links from that contest. so anyone who ever sees that contest will be able to click anyone of your poems and see what a brilliant writer you are. iam glad you're back and hope you do stay. just in case you don't know, i never intended you any pain or to break your heart. i could never do that to you, not on purpose. it was hard for me a long time to even know how bad i hurt you. if you only truly knew how bad i felt. i have always been mesmerized by your writing. i don't know how to explain it except that you get to me in a place where many cannot!. that's why i know your writing is magic. i am going to ask a huge favor of you. at the end of this comment, i am going to provide a link where i put all three stories together about our adventure as one. would you be so kind to make a comment, for old time sake. i know you commented on every episode/part already. it would just mean so much to me if you could comment on this one as well. i do hope you post some more. if i can get your permission, i would like to start writing again teaming up your character with theDARK1 for a series. welcome back!

  just wanted to come over here and officially congratulate you for being a grand prize winner of my contest. i plan to read and comment on 100 of your poems. my only problem is i think i have commented and applauded on most of them already. i will be doing this covering about a 2-3 week span. maybe you have some poems that you just have not posted yet, that would be nice to see you writing more anyway. i will be seeing you soon. i have a date with your poetry for several nights. thank you for entering and doing such a fine job.

  There must be some kind of vibe or something. I just logged in and updated my author's page a bit. Then I came over here and noticed you were on just about 5 hours ago. I can't believe I started on this site a year ago. Where has the time gone? It makes me wonder how quickly time can disappear. Are you doing ok? I guess I will make a few more rounds. Happy New Year!   It's me! You probably have forgotten me by now. I have not been here for months. I went to check my email and couldn't get into it. I guess if you don't check it for months at a time they take it away. Oh well, it's not like I used it anyway since I like the invention they call the telephone. That's how I get everything done. If I didn't have a phone I could not exist. Anyways, I wanted to let you know I was alive and that I will be showing up more frequently now. At least more than I have in the past. I'm starting to get with the times and I guess I have to get another email address now. You still have not posted anything since the last time I was here. Sooooooo I'm gonna issue you a challenge! Yep, little ole' me wants you to write a poem for me. I know I'm asking alot when I do that. I guess I think it would be nice for someone to write me something and why not from you? You were always so gracious and warm to me. Maybe I will see you around!

  ..there's a lady that needs some encouragement at the moment. i will be leaving her link to the contest she is holding for herself. no she is not self-absorbed, she's just in so much pain. she needs encouragement in all aspects of her life. there are many categories so there's no excuse for not entering. wednesday morning she has to go to the doctor and she does need our prayers and she already has mine. please see what you can do for this lady!

  was going through the names who have me on their favorites list and trying to patronize them in return with a comment. i know if you never came into contact with DARK that you would still be here today allowing all of us to be blessed with your remarkable words. i don't hang around all that much any more but then work has alot to do with that. itz taken two days to get through my list and i'm still not done. i guess i will probably stop here with yours and try to finish the others in a day or so. all i can do is wish you the best and maybe one day you will come back and provide this site with your spark once again. i wish you and your family the best and a happy thanksgiving, luvya, DARK.

  i have not been on in a while and i can't stay, but had to drop you a line. i was writing a story that i was hoping that you would get to read, but my laptop crashed and it was lost. brand new laptop and it has never been connected to the web and it still crashed...go figure. i do hope to find time to start on it again for i want you to read it sometime...it will be posted under TPA once itz done. i do hope you know that you're being thought about. i also hope that you're doing great and that you have found a great guy to be in your life...i can't think of anyone more than you that deserves it. i do have to go for i am running behind on my schedule.

  I'm glad that you will return. I might actually try to get online more myself. I hardly ever get on the net. I have not checked email for months. I hope my yahoo account is still active. Guess I will check back in a week or two to see if you got a new poem. I can tell that this site is not the same without you.   just curious what it would take to get you back here. i love reading your poems. it does seem if i don't have time, i was still compelled to read whatever you have written. you are truly talented. i am not sure how you do it, but you have such a great gift for putting words in a written form to compel the soul. i guess since i put off celebrating my birthday until next week, it will give me time to make sure i get my birthday wish right when i blow out the candles on my cake. i think i already know what it will be. hopefully when i get back next sunday, i will see if it comes true. hope your inspiration will be back some day. you're missed here on this site and it looks like by many (actually, i know it is), luvya, DARK

  i couldn't sleep. i have not been home much lately. i have not written in a long time (but then there has been alot happening in my life that's not been to good). i came to your home page here which gave me some inspiration to write the following (along with the many emotions that have been going through me). i hope to be back to allpoetry soon. i hope life is treating you well. if a person deserves it more than anyone it would be you. i also hope you have found that love that makes your toes curl, makes your palms sweat and your body tingle. you truly have a great heart. thank you for being such a great friend to me and to everyone here at allpoetry. you are surely missed! here's the poem your page helped inspired (not sure if you will like being part of the inspiration or even get a chance to read it since you have been away just as i have been).
  
  the DARK
  
  light in the DARK
  burns bright under the moon
  while the sun cast a shadow
  sometimes the heart
  runs and hides too soon
  not knowing which way to go
  the DARK becomes light
  embraced by the friendship of love
  looking for a hand to hold
  as day turns into night

  I had a pleasant surprise a little while after I logged on to AP. I didn't know I earned a GOLD trophy. Now my BRONZE will not feel so lonely. I decided to give you a surprise, but do not know if it will be there when you log in. I think you will be able to host another contest since you have been flooded with points. I would never used them anyway with the exception what I did for you. When I get more points I will spread it around to the people who have made comments on my poems.   OK! I have been to the pages of LiLMizzChelz, ImYourLover and now yours. By the remark of Carls page, it seems that Chelsey and he are together. But by reading the above comments, you and Dark are not. I still have to catch up on things not to mention comments to others. I do wish I had all of my Instant Messages. I do see that you continue to keep racking up the trophies, but I never had a doubt in my mind about your winning ability for you are such a fantastic writer. I was hoping to see some new things from you. Looks like your last poem was around the last time I was here. I hope you don't have writer's block. I never have to worry about that since I don't write much. This is the part where you get to laugh! Good luck with everything.

  i have discussed it with kristi about holding a contest for you and she agreed that you are such a classy lady that we should do something for you. i hope this will be a great valentine's gift for you. not to mention that i hope you don't mind me doing this contest since i did not have your permission. i hope you will know itz cuz of the love i have for you and had the first time we started writing for each other. i know i will be getting married this year now, but to the one that i had intended on marrying a few years from now. however, we decided to go ahead and do it this year. you will always have a place in my heart and your writing will always get to me. you have such a gift! i never had to see a picture of you to know i loved you. your words were the pictures to my heart and soul. i do know that things worked out in such a strange way. i hope that you will find a guy that will love you for your mind and heart like the love i have for you. you are indeed a first class lady. many could look to you and know this is how they should be and strive to be. i just can't say it enough how special you are. maybe one day kristi and i could even meet you (as long as itz not a problem for you). here's what the contest looks like:

  DARK needs his shadow
  like the moon needs itz glow
  without the world of DARKness
  light can never be shown
  
  love is strange in itz divide
  DARKs shadow must not hide
  a good thing does take work
  for it to completely survive
  
  a shadow to accompany DARK
  she has always been in his heart
  even when he disappeared
  he knew it was her from the start
  
  through the DARK of endless nights
  only his shadow can provide light
  he beckons her once more
  hopefully she will remain by his side
  
  only the shadow completes the man
  without her, he is unable to stand
  he rises tall through his friends,
  but itz his shadow hand in hand
  
  the writing is on the wall
  only the shadow can make the call
  if love shall drift or not
  or if it should be anything at all

  Congrats on your throphy from LiLMizzChelz's contest. It was a well deserved win. I did notice that she did not comment on all poems which makes me believe that she did not read all the entries. Unless she is one of those people that only comments on what she wants too. Any way, I don't mean to tarnish your win because she didn't leave a comment on mine. She even left a comment on my guestbook that if she could help me in any way to IM her. I did and the only response I got back was ty for the compliment on her looks. I'm starting to thank this girl is stuck on herself. I think her and ImYourLover will make a good couple. I'm not sure what he sees in her though (ooops, did I just say that). Your poem was magnificent and I will be reading more of yours. You seem to have a gift for writing, but I think I will just comment from now on and give up writing. Happy New Year!
