On my poem you said you were trying to acquire the book "Interview With The Vampire" Anne Rice is very popular author, so I wouldn't be surprised if you found her books at your local library.. My dad encouraged me to read it, so I'm not sure what I can tell you with the parental units. But it's not a very long read.. It took me a day; it's hard to put down. The series, I'm told (haven't read the others yet) is written in much the same way. So I can tell you it's beautiful, and eye-opening!
Thanks for the contest, it inspired me to write that! I had been thinking about doing something because I love the character Claudia, and that prompted me to do so!

I am very glad that you enjoyed my entry. That really does make me feel a hell of a lot better considering my sister told me it wasn't very good because it didn't rhyme. She's too obsessed with poetry that rhymes in my opinion. I am currently working on writing a story that can be entered into the story write contest. But I always type the stories before posting them, so that word catches all my spelling and grammatical errors for me. And, so I can see just how long it is. I will post the poem in the group. Thanks for taking the time to read it.

Saknika: Regarding the contest...

We got so caught up in making the background for the contest that we overlooked the fact that we posted it as a Poetry Contest and not a Story Contest.

So.. what we're asking is for you to make your poem into a regular poem and remove it kindly from the contest.

You can still post it in the group and recieve your bonuses, keep in mind we are making an exception for you.. we did enjoy reading your entry which is half the problem. (it would've been MUCH easier if you wrote something crappy).

You can if you wish enter something as a story? maybe..

Well as I'm supposed to be on bed rest I didn't have time to enter but I've applauded all 8 of the entries as of right now. I promoted it again and will visit it to see if anymore entered. I've been applauding the positive comments too.
Oh, and I'll give all entrants at least 25 pts for entering. More if they're really good!

I insist. I have nothing else to spend points on right now... if you'd like me to make sure no one leaves nasty comments on the contest, or enters something inappropriate, LMK.
I'll continue to promote it of course.
If you do leave it open while on vacation that will give me time to read and write something.
I was considering doing one of showing how I take different elements of different religions and combine them for my own set of beliefs... would that be permitted? If not, that's ok I will still try to write that and something for your contest if there's time.
