EstherG on May 22Thank you for your lovely comments X
Re: Manchester, you're so lucky to be studying there. I lived in Manchester for two years, and now live about 20 minutes outside the city. I love it, it's just a lovely place...it's cityish without the less nice bits of cities, if that makes sense.
And with regards to the writing scene, there're tons of groups - Manky Poets is a good one whose members publish a lot, as is Poetica...and there's a writing school that runs courses throughout the year and nice events like poetry picnics, things like that. Tons of stuff. I'll dig out the links I've got and post them if you like.
What are you going to be studying, and which Uni are you going to? XXX -

MayDecemberSun on March 18, 2006Thank you so much for your knowledgable critique of my poem "In the Oblique." You found my tiny details and nuances; obviously you took the time to think about the words and their sounds and connotations, and that means a lot to me. Talk to you sometime!
-
ILTL4eva7 on March 13, 2006Wow, making new friends, are you? lol... That's okay, honesty, even on an extreme level, is amusing... and hey, some people just need to hear it. Besides, you're so clever with your wit that I can't help but be impressed... Sarcasm is so much fun.
-
Loveboots on January 11, 2006Hi, I've seen some of your crit on other people's poems and I like your up-front honesty. I'm not going to ask you to crit my stuff (because you probably have better things to do) but if you do decide to check it out you can be sure I won't respond with anger - even if you hate it!
I'll check back and read some of yours soon, but I have to get off line right now.
Take care.

Saint Jai on January 4, 2006I just like to have the last word.
Kiss kiss. -
poetmaster32 on January 4, 2006youre on my ignore list and block list how is it that i see you still? youre not a hacker are you. and you know swearing is not allowed on this site also. it sounds like you need to chill out. youre the one swearing and being sarcastic. you give your people a bad name. no wonder youre always needing our help to solve the worlds problems. dont write to me. your just wasting your time and its sad.
-
Saint Jai on January 4, 2006I'm jealous. So jealous, it hurts.
I. Wish. I. Could. Write. Like. You.
But wait: I should hold back my bitter and jealous sarcasm; you can surely 'get' me through my screen. I leave a critical comment on your page, and I will soon be on the receiving end of a vicious beating through poor advertising?
Kitten, don't kid yourself. You can't do anything, and neither can I. Why would you want to? This is a poetry site, chill the fuck out. -
poetmaster32 on January 4, 2006or mayube youre jealous because you are not published? i thought your comments were to be upbuilding anot sarcastic. but jealousy makes you more bitter i guess. oh well , and it sounds like you make lots of them since you picked out mine so easily. ive dealt with people like you before. you dont want to mess with me.
-
Saint Jai on January 4, 2006Oh yes, you are right. A 'Haiku' contains:
5
then
7
then
5 syllables.
Your poem has 6 syllables in the first line. As in
"Forgive me for my sin" = 6
For(1)-give(2) me(3) for(4) my(5) sin(6)
But maybe the kind you write is the "USA Haiku", and I've got it all wrong. You are, after all, the POETMASTER(No. 32). So I'm sure you know exactly what you are talking about.
Or you don't have a clue. How about that? I love the fact that your published; it makes this even more poignant. -
poetmaster32 on January 3, 2006they dont have Haiku in the UK? it goes 5 syllables then 7 then 5 more syllables. anywho USA rocks and have a nice day.

Odyssey on April 13, 2005I have come here directly from Ms. Trick's author's page. She writes the kind of poetry one needs to savor. After reading your comment I felt compelled to visit your pages. I don't have time right at this minute for the kind of reading you deserve, but a quick glipmse told me to add you to my fav's, and I will be back.
The picture on this page; the eyes have the soul of an artist.

silica on March 7, 2005Pst… I think you have the wrong collective noun – it’s a banshee of peacocks… or X braces if I have my way!
-
Ms. Trick on January 31, 2005I'd kiss you for the comment you left on my author's page but 6 hours of water's going to be one hell of a row-boat trip. Here's to hoping for the endurance of plastic swans.
I checked some of the comments other sleft on your author page. Don't you just love people who consider themselves morally correct? Morality's like (freedom is just another word).
You understand words and they seem to like you. I think the words have the right idea.
-trick -
Saint Jai on October 2, 2004That is right, honey. I have no morals and I throw myself at every man. Legs spread, I am a walking silk boy; prince of sex and decadence and fishnet tights.
You are unenlightened, baby, but I'm still prettier.

pozo on October 1, 2004Thanks for commenting on my poem... your comment was nice JUST KIDDING! Don't worry though, unlike you I have a sense of morality so I'll just ignore your comment

myrataal on September 13, 2004My dearest Soul
I want to enfold you within the Love of the Great Creator. You are brilliant. May your talent bring Hope to this world of darkness ... and Light. I understand your soul ... I've written this Poem, Present in Absence and posted it on my page ... It is for YOU. My comment with it is:
It is about the Moment of Creation before Just Before Time: the Great Climax
The Divine Sperm
the Beginning of All Pure Passion
God's Climatic Idea.
The Formation of Predestined You ... Me ... Us
How do I say what I feel and see?
My words have not yet begin to breathe itself ...
I can see almost the entire Plan --- I am almost Home --- Just another short Eternity ...
Please be well; take care of yourself. You are special in the most extraordinary way. Don't let darkness destroy your shimmering soul.
Love,
Myra -

Saint Jai on July 6, 2004One day I'll split my bronze-white body into twins (a special Enantiomorph) and send half of me to you. We would dream of men and mascara and a shiny dichotomy.
Wouldn't that be just delicious?
A thimble for your words, Missy Prairie.

brokencrayon on June 2, 2004J'adore..J'adore...J'adore Jai!
Your poems are crisp and crunch my flittering
eyelids.
I'd like to put make-up on you. . .
Because naturally,
You are all ready so pretty!
Mhhm. Your personality enlivens each word.
You could be something of a Pop Star Poet.
But, I...am more of a homely folk singer.
I'll leave the glitz to you. -
