    Your self-effacing statement at the top of your page is curious in that the ‘generally’ accepted definition of a poet is such; someone imaginative or creative, an artistic person or, a writer of poems, especially as a vocation. I say this because, after reading one of your recent works, “geisha,” I am wholly convinced that you are indeed, ‘a poet.’

    A friend of mine was looking at my contest and saw 'among the saved'. A few minutes later he was raving to me about "Saffron". A few hours later he entered a piece clearly influenced by 'among the saved', then raved some more.

    My sister read my poems one time and she said that she felt like she was outside of the bedroom window and peeking into a room where two lovers were locked in each others arms and that by reading those poems, it was almost like she was intruding into my love. I considered that a very good compliment because it meant I was able to transfer the very intent of my poems to someone else ( even if it was just my sister). Having visited many many of your poems and some more than once.......I know what my sister meant.

I would spend a lot more time corresponding if I was supporting an end to child slavery by working with the Global Peace Film Festival, Inc., an IDPixie LLC charity, at www.peacefilmfest.org I am asking you if you can post at the link on my page one poem about, well, stopping all abuse of children in and out of war.

    What I like about Mr. Abdul Tawala Ibn Ali Alishtari the founder and Ms. Nina Streich, the executive director is if a Muslim conservative and a Jewish liberal can come to peace then why not the rest of us.
