Sorry lovy, but if I remember correctly, I don't speak for any one. My political poems in one of three veiws, I describe what happened, or I try and go into their shoes, or it is just my own personal view.
For the life of me I can't see where I stood up and proclaimed to be the voice of Iraq or Iran,, If you read my work Iraq and Iran are just the last comings of a long line of poems, dealing with deeper issues.
  • LovyDovy on March 4, 2006
You can't speak for all the people in Iraq and Iran. They don't all think the same or have the same morals. Not every person in those countries hates the West or hates their goverment. Don't say they do because unless you've spoken to every single person there, you can't speak for them.

Hi there, Roo, thanks so much for showing me the mistakes I had made, yeah, the colors where hard to read, and I forgot the damn punctuations, I get so carried away when I'm writing, I tend to forget. Good luck with the novel, I too am busy with a short story. take care, Queenlestat100
  • mascararunning on September 5, 2004
thanks fer the comments on my work and i will be sure to check my punctuation. thanks fer the advice. much appreciated

You know how you want your poems to be 'ripped a part'? Well 'apart' is actually only one word. Terribly sorry to be pedantic.
  • anyonita jenea on August 29, 2004
hmmmm must read some of your work when i get the chance....@Ny0ni+@
  • on August 28, 2004
Hi Roo. Your name is peculiar but excellent. Well done. Now I'm going to read your poems. Thank YOU.
  • Secret Sue on July 5, 2004
i saw a comment you had left on another poet's work, and the name cought my eye. my name is Mandy sue, but all of my friends call me Manda roo, because i love kangaroos. i've only ever touched one, once, but i have dreams of going to australia to really interact with kangaroos. i'm a kangaroo activist, with the group VIVA and fully boycott ADIDAS (because they kill kangaroos for their soccer cleats). if you havent already, you should check out their site,.. its www.savethekangaroo.com i'm gonna read some of your stuff, and hope you check ut some of mine.
    love the name,
    Manda Roo
  • friendlyone on April 25, 2004
Your poems or comments are short but sweet and I bet they come straight from the heart and mind. This is an interesting site and I just thought I would check your stuff out. I have some stuff too if you want to check them out. The name is friendlyone.

Thanks Roo... I wrote that poem intentionally like that... I like your writing style though... I'm NEVER happy and I write a lot of gloomy things...

  • Mouse on May 8, 2003
I find it insulting that you did not take the time to read my poems, but rather wrote a single phrase over and over for each one. I'd rather have *no* comment if this is going to happen. Please don't read my poetry UNLESS you are actually going to read it.

  • Sunny17 on April 21, 2003

wow i LOVE your drive and dedication! You and I have the same goals..it's soooooooooooooo hard to find people to rip apart my poems, and I know they arent the greatest but I cant get any better if all I get is friendly praise and never any advice..-sigh-anyhow, I had no idea you had a lack of an education when I was reading your poems..trust me you can't tell compared to other things on this site (including my own poetry lol) I'll be sure to drop by again =) if ya ever wanna drop by and gimmie a read you're more than welcome!

    Keep writing and God bless!

    -JuLz

Roo, I've read several of your poems, not nearly all of them yet, and I selected 'The Oak Tree' to promote, with 170 points. The poem held a lot of meaning to me, I especially liked it. I have way too many points to hang on to them.

Thanks again for entering the challenge and I'll be starting a new one soon. Hope you'll check it out

  • catz on January 16, 2003
It doesn't look like this posted on IM so here it is again

You all made it really tough for me to select a winner.. all are such good poems. Jaden is winner with his entry 'Antag' and nopunkprincess is runnerup with 'fatalism'
All of you are truly winners and I'm going to promote each of your poems with 150 each. Let me know if you want to move your poem to your regular poetry list first.
I tried to say all this on the final message but it didn't all fit....
Congratulations to all of you.. it's been fun.

Thanks for you many comments Roo. I couldn't agree more. Atheist can be just as closed minded as Theist. I classify myself as a Freethinking Agnostic Atheist. There are always new things to learn and you can't learn them unless you open your mind.
  • female dog on December 13, 2002
Thanks for the advice on my poem you're right those were the things I was questioning but I wasn't sure if I should leave it or not.

    Appreciatively, Amanda
  • reiayni on December 11, 2002
Sorry about the repeat.... My comp got screwed up... sorry for the inconvenience. Or it could be the sight, I dunno
  • reiayni on December 11, 2002
Nothing HAS to have a comma in poetry, unless you're in to the particulars. Poetry is a way of expressing ones self. You could look at it in a questioning sort of view, but it could also be a demand.... whatever you concieve it to be.
  • reiayni on December 9, 2002
Thank you for commenting on my poem... it was really just something to vent out some of anger and to help me from reminescing.
  • HuggyBee on December 9, 2002
