EllisBell : feedback on [i spoke with God;] on March 1
Hi, you commented on my poem [i spoke with God;] and your comment was well received and much appreciated. but i have a question or two; do you yourself beleive in a "God" as such, and how that effected the way you recieved my poem, and how you think that might effect the way anyone reads this one in particular. also you seem very esteemed, well done! i would very much appreciate any feedback or advice you may have.

aw thank you for such kind words (very unexpected to receive such a thing!!)
Thank you

Sadijara : To The Reincarnation of Mark Twain on February 13
I am not sure, but my instincts tell me you are female. But I could swear you are Mark Twain and Will Rogers reincarnated. You have the style of both when it comes to your story telling. Which is really truly wonderful. Your creations I have read so far remind me of a story teller, so at ease, and so easy to listen to and understand and "get it". Reminds me of the hours I use to sit as an only child with my books as siblings and dream away. Thank you for sharing your talent.

I thought I would stop by your page and see who the person is who responded so nicely to being DQ'd from my contest! I've been reading some of your poetry and I am pleasantly impressed.
It is good to see your open witness, as well. God bless.

well, I finally sat down and tried to write again today, it seems like it's been forever.
I keep looking to see something new from your pen, hoping for that inspiration to kickstart my own ink.
Hope all is well with you, and waiting anxiously for your return to writing.
Take care,

Ah, Uncle Robin. One of my favorite writers, and of the few people I look up to on this website. I hope you're well. If not, get better (haha) I hope that you don't miss me too much either. I'll be back around.

Uncle Robin!
Thank you so much for being a part of my life.
And even though I never told you this, I really do love the intro to your author page. It makes me think of all of the people the government has tried to silence over the years, like John Lennon. But in the end, it only made their messages more hard-hitting.
-
Ah I just clicked by to visit your page and I’m really glad for that. It was really a nice one.. the poetry the most.
Let me write you the latest quote I have heard: “Friendship is not to get wet with your friend under the rain. Friendship is to be an umbrella and your friend never understands why he doesn’t get wet.”
Nice to meet you :-)
-
I don't know how to respond to that. On the one hand, I appreciate what you meant, but on the other hand, you must realize that I can never be sundered from introspection, as it is a part of who I am. To do so would be to live a lie, and I refuse. Maybe it is the stubbornness of youth, or the stubbornness that runs through my nature like quicksilver, I find that I am unable to comprehend a life without heavy contemplation.

You are so kind!
I mean it....can I adopt you as an AP family member or something?

When I got online I noticed that I had a large number of viewings to a particular poem. If you had anything to do with it, thank you. If you didn't and have no idea what I'm talking about, disregard my ramblings but take a thank you anyways, for being such a kind and intelligent person.

Ok, I have posted a new poem basically directed to you. If you have the time to read it, I would love to hear how it was taken.

Hello there!
The only reason I know you is because you left a nice and interesting comment on one of my poems back in May- one called "Let The Children Be".
I read the intro paragraph at the top of your userpage... and though some of the wording is a little advanced for my personal vocabulary, I found it very intriguing!- what you said about totalitarian governments trying to wipe out poets... I've never heard that before...
BUT!- what I have heard (- or read rather) I think has some kind of interesting connection!
Not long ago, I discovered that the word "poets" only shows up one time in the Bible! But what's even more interesting is the setting, and the correlation this has with what you've said above.
It was used by the Apostle Paul as he's trying to witness to the people on Mars Hill, in reference to how their own "poets" acknowledged an Almighty Creator God that begat the human race!- the same "written record" that you speak of.
NO WONDER THEY TRIED TO WIPE THE POETS OUT!
If you ever want to read a really interesting book, go read "Eternity In Their Hearts", by Don Richardson (I believe). It has that Paul story in there, and MUCH MORE. You'd probably like it!
Nice meeting you!

Be at peace, friend.

Thank you for stopping by to read "I just don't get it"
and your words where ever so kind
A Robin via text means several things Spring;tameness;love;friendship;
also asscoated with the Month of May.
In Christian symbology it can also mean Death/ ressurection and/
or Palengenesis,
In Teutonic it is scared to Thor; a form of the cloud bird.
In the little you told me about you ; you seem to fit all Descriptions of the Robin well.
candor means in just one defenation Freedom from prejudice- impartiality.
If I can be of any service to you
ever with the deciphering
of symbols or
Myth please feel free to ask
Edited on Jun 04, 3:39 p.m. because 'forgot the bird'.

Just droppin' by. I like your new author page... well it's new to me. I love the "you need the poems of the poets" poem. BTW I wanted you to read a poem of mine when you get a moment This one will make you think about life. It's my newest right now. It's called "Dissolving the Wise".
