you'll never know
what happened to that girl
who used to mock me openly.

she never knew
that evil isn't a refractory thing
it can easily be broken down.

I never knew
that someone could forget
to put an apostrophe in (Youll)

Only an idiot could make such a mistake
without it, it just sounds like "Yowl"
something I could (never) take seriously.

Never is such a strong word
thats why Michael Jackson likes it
his vacation spot is "Never, Never" Land...

(Everyone knows that)

And speaking of knowing---
what exactly will I "never" know?

Mirror, mirror on the wall
why does know have a "k"?
and a silent one at that...

Is it shy?
Or is K-Now
the new K-Mart...?

Even the mirror cannot answer
I'll never know.

You are definitely not pathetic, sometimes I really need someone to give me a kick in the ass to get me going ( especially when it is some kind of visual arts project. my teachers have their hands full with me there

). The title of the book is Fiction Writer's Workshop and it is by Josip Novakovich. The exercises are actually pretty good, but to be honest I only read the first chapter before I said "screw it" and just skipped to those lol.

thank you for commenting on my work "the poet" i'm glad you can relate to this, i wanted to take something i often feel, and i turn it into something i know others will realize they feel after reading it, but its also to bring hope, thank you again for the comment.
