Red Rocket on October 2, 2006Hi,
Just stopping by to send a blessing and to hope that all is as God has made for you. Please, for God sake, write something as this site is in need of poems from the Lord.
Peace,
Red

Loveboots on March 9, 2006Thank you for writing the Wedding Gown poem and for allowing me to share it! He loved it, and it might have said something to him that he felt he needed to hear. Certainly said it more eloquently than I could!
I hope all is well.
Take care.

Dearest Rita
For Christmas and for the New Year, I pray that each star from the sky will hang from your Christmas tree twinkling as angelic mirrors of the Day Jesus was born on the earth. His Love In All

Loveboots on November 11, 2005Hi, I just read through some of your poems and I am really impressed. I have to say I am in no way religious, so it's not so much the content I am agreeing with, but I am slightly in awe of your writing style. Your words are so well chosen and so well placed that the poems just feel beautiful. I think the thing that makes you stand out is the range of vocabulary you use and the skill you have for making it fit together. Your descriptive power is outstanding. I know there are a lot of compliments flying around this site and people on here are always encouraging, but I truly find something touching about what you've written so I'm gonna add you to my favourites if thats ok.
Thanks,
LB -

Reflected Light on April 5, 2005Hi Anna! Thank you for your comments, I'm glad you like my writing.
It's awesome to meet other believers who use their creativity to glorify God in poetry.
Unfortunately we're a rare breed! Isn't it a sweet treasure to be loved by Someone who never will go away and give up on you? God is amazing.

Zahhar on January 3, 2005hrrm, i like the ivy background you have here. mind if i take it and turn it into two sidebars? one for light text and one for dark?
-
Zahhar on January 3, 2005i've looked at a bunch of your poems because the one you linked me to was such a treat. you have a great deal of potential and i hope you'll add the study of rhetoric, prosody, and english itself (its history, development, distribution, changes throughout time, grammer, lexicon, and a bunch of other stuff) to your reading. doing so will take your already wonderful natural talent and forge it into a metal so strong nothing will break it, then hone it into an edge so sharp it will cut the stars from the night.

faderman1959 on November 19, 2004Nothing gold can stay is also my favorite poem and is also part of my signature. I just read one of your poems and it was great and I'll have to read more.

MargaretG on September 27, 2004Rita, I love your positive philosophy of writing! There's another scripture which is very helpful to me, "whatever is true, honest, just, lovely, of good repute, think on that". (Phil 4:8)
I'm adding you to my favorites so I don't lose you again!

Wesley Storer on August 3, 2004Dear Reflected Light. What a thrill it was to hear from you. The bible verse from Ephesians is very appropriate. Wow! A bible student at Maryland Bible College read my poem about a Maryland girl named Sara! Is that not kind of a miracle in itself? Gosh, you are pretty. Good luck with the over-seas missionary work. Sorry, my mistake. It was "Flowers on the Mountain". Thank you. Please stay in touch once in a while. You please me.
