i was just browsing and decided to check out your page.
congratulations on your pregnancy. hope all goes with that =]
i noticed you have two horses. i absolutly love horses. i work at a ranch on the weekends to pay off my lessons. at the ranch, there's a four year old buckskin named JD with whom i am in love with. the only bad thing, is that he's not broke yet. and i'm the only one who pays much attention to him. the good side about that is the owner of the ranch, Nancy, won't get rid of him because he was the last horse she bought from a good friend of hers who died.
heh, that was a bit random. haha.
hope to talk to you again
    -x-

I have been doing pretty good, been very busy! I am planning for a new baby, and I found out it is a boy! I am so happy, since I already have two girls.... Maybe i'll log on and write a bit tonight, been hard finding the time. Later
  • James R on June 24, 2006
Hello my dear friend I thank you ever so much for the cooment on my piece and hey if u ever get a divorce u know were to find me lol its great to hear from how have you been keeping?
  • saltine796 on June 22, 2006
Thanks for your comment on "Ella Marie." I did think of the song "Sara Beth" at one point. The music was originally to be for the guitar, but I can't play guitar (yet) so I wrote it out for piano. I think the song is somewhat similar to James Taylor's music. Anyway, thanks a lot for the comment!

I noticed here on your page that your influences include Ani Difranco and Leonard Cohen (and perhaps your user name is a reference to a Gordon Lightfoot song?) and I wondered if you were familiar with the music of Joni Mitchell, who has often been compared to all three of the aforementioned artists. I think you should check her stuff out. I think Leonard Cohen even covered a few of her songs. If you like her, please join my writing group, The Joni Mitchell Fan Club.

Sorry for typing your eyes out; now I'm gonna go read on of your poems!`

Frankly I have no idea what I would name him, so I decided to let my husband have that task. I already named two girls, so what the heck! Yep I have horses, damn things, they are so stubborn right now, maybe I"ll im you with some questions.... You know about training, and these guys sure need it! Yes there are so many things going on, it's kinda freaky, and I feel kinda lost, not myself or something. I quit smoking again and again and finally again. Been 4 days this time, and the doc told me to go on the patch! Pregant! I was surprised. So life is definately being seen through a different set of lenses right now. Thanks for checking this revamped page out dear! Laters~ Harp

Horseys! I'm so jealous! I tried to steal one the other day... but it wouldn't get in my apartment! You know, my bedroom would be a nice stall, and I could always sleep on the couch. But nnoooooooo! I live on the second floor!

LOL I love horses. Owned them growing up, trained them... and then got older and couldn't afford the upkeep! It broke my heart when I had to sell Pepper (my special little horsey-pony)... so now I'm really jealous.

And a baby on the way? Woo hoo! Lots of things have happened since I've last visited your page. Congratulations, and I'll have my fingers crossed for a boy. What would you name him?
  • Nightwish girl on May 15, 2006
Happy Mother's Day!!!!! Congradulations on the baby boy's are sooooo fun to take care of and are extremely loving when they are little!

A little note to introduce myself.. I follow the Shamanic path, but honor all others as well. Since I am fairly new to AP, I try to read each authors bio and to get the feel of their energy! Your's is quite powerful but also sad at this time.
Below are several of my favorite quotes, hopefully , you will see my heart as well

    Quotes:
I sent my Soul through the Invisible,
Some letter of that After-life spell,
And by and by my Soul returned to me,
And answered "I Myself am Heaven and Hell."
    OMAR KHAYYAM

The breath of divine knowledge is the bellows of divine
love, and the flame of divine love is the perfection of
    divine knowledge.
    FRANCES QUARELS

    For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing
of birds is come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard
    in our land.
    SONG OF SOLOMON

The spirit is smothered, as it were, by ignorance, but
so soon as ignorance is destroyed, spirit shine forth,
like the sun when released from clouds.
    SANKARA

I hope that we can become better aquainted as we walk together on this path of life. You page is beautiful in here, especially the black and white photo, with the raindrop background! I am working on a poem for your daughter and will enter the contest just as soon as I can finish it. Love and Blessings to you always.
  • Cherokee on March 16, 2006
I want to write a poem for your daughter. It doesn't have to be for the contest. Do you mind telling me her name? I want to personalize it so she will know it is just for her.

Annnnnnnnd, which poem is it you wrote about your wedding? I cannot seem to find it for your page loads with a collection in view rather than your latest offerings. A link would be lovely right... hope that all worked... to the poemcave batman!
  • KozMic BluEs on February 27, 2006
So please don't be offended by my spamming your author page with this for my own personal gain, but one of those pictures has inspired words I haven't yet gotten out, and I'm running out of time here, so I'll must quickly throw these words at you, and then hopefully (with enough time left) leave you with the ones I really wanted to say.
  • KozMic BluEs on February 27, 2006
But you are running another contest... which I'd like to enter however I am having a little trouble with that... since I swiftly posted two pieces of my before discovering that, and now need to leave four comments before I can post another.
  • KozMic BluEs on February 27, 2006
I have very limited internet access at the moment, maybe once a month if I'm lucky. So I was disappointed to log on and see you were running a contest, wanting an entry from me, and had already closed and judged it by the time I got here. Oh well, the perils of not having my own pc I suppose.
  • TanitaP on February 22, 2006
Hey I'm from snowy Minnesnowta myself. I love your work. I'm enjoying reading your work and getting to know you through it.
  • Nightwish girl on February 22, 2006
Hey, I just want to rant to you about me moving out in three months because I'm tired of living with a bunch of mentally and emotion abusesers and lushes. If you have any advise I'd like to know.
    Love your ap daughter

  • Rainydaywoman on February 21, 2006
I'm running a contest, and I figured, since you always tell me to quit my rhyming, I want a poem from you that rhymes! I think it is going to end rather quickly, I am only letting 50 entries in, and I have 30 already. I hope you can enter something for me! ~ Rainy

ps. I wrote something about the wedding. Later
  • KozMic BluEs on February 14, 2006
    Congratulations!
`bout bloody time you got your happy on eh
I haven't a chance to look through your work lately but I'd love to see you write something on the overwhelming delight and emotion involved in marriage... though you may have already, I shall find out when I have a little more time on my hands.
Hope you have a lovely valentines
