this quote is what really turned me on to kurt cobains mind (ive liked his music for ages.) he was one of the few grunge/ alternatives that openly talked about death. reading this quote makes me feel better about my 'dirty thoughts' cause if he had them too...then they cant be that that dirty. after all, people said he was perfectly flawed. maybe im perfectly flawed aswell (i highly doubt it though) -
blha lhidhosfsk on October 17, 2005although i have never been into hard rock, i have had a appriciation for their words. 60's rock always uses sooo many metafors and pritty soon the meaning of the song is lost beneth guitar and tunes. it more like poetry i guess when hard rock states it how it is. the korn lyrics were really powerful though, exspcially the first line of every stanza when it talk about the place in his mind. i disapear in my mind too well into my stories to be more exscact and really that samll fact about me is where my lozerness thrives. but owell, the lives of my characters are far more compatible then mine.

Free Bird by lynrd skynrd. this sopng you kinda have to listen to the whole song to get the feel cause it gets really powerful with all this awsome guitar and stuff and yeah. actully im planning on listening to this and natural beauty by neil young (which you also may be able to aprciate because your into preserving the earth and its all about that) when the time comes.

illipenandpaper on March 15, 2004OH MY GOD...You're like a 12 year old poetic genius!...I want to be you! Seriously, when I was 12, all my poems either sucked, had the worst rhyming scheme or had no real meaning or emotion. What you write is amazing, for any age. Even if you had been 25, I would still have been utterly impressed by your poems!
You should think about a future in writing...or English literature...you learn a lot from shit like that. I figure if you're this talented at 12, can you imagine what you will be like by 18!?! Sorry to go on and on....
Anyways, good job on your poetry!
